Erik went from producing music by cannibal corpse to becoming a member I am happy for him they are a successful band that being said Hate Eternal are a much better band! I hope this is not the end of them!
Not a single flaw in their discography for me, the consistency of Immolation but in *brutal* death. Musical nobility and mechanical brutality, extreme, supreme music. Discriminating? Maybe. Completely airtight, probably excruciating for the novice, but an absolute enjoyment outlet for the initiate. The king of all kings. I hope his time in Cannibal Corpse won't keep Rutan from releasing a new HE missile. In my top 5 all-time death metal bands for sure. Absolute legend of Death Metal.
