- Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus found himself in a war of words with some fans on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) following the Black Stars narrow 4-3 victory over the Central African Republic (CAR) in a World Cup qualifier.
He wasn't even selfish yesterday....he was involved in all three goals in the second half. He created two chances wasted by Kamaldeen. I think he released the ball more in the second half but was poor in the first half. Some Ghanaians are not being fair to the young man.

It wasn't an abuse at all and Kudus has to be careful with how he responds to fans. He has to ignore all those comments because these same fans are the ones that has been supporting him. I think he wasn't happy with his performance himself and that's why he responded that way. Once he retire and becomes a fan himself he will understand the fans. He should learn from Asamoah Gyan and the Ayew family.

Sometimes I blame some of the media platforms for such behaviors. You guys sometimes use your platforms to propagate this ie some of your pundits in your show, Listowel etc, Fireman and others. This gives the fans that attitude to always disrespect and insult our players. They have feelings too. The guy played well and contributed positively to the team. Sometimes people have no idea what the players go through ie injuries etc and still sacrifice to play just to have fans insult our players and it’s not fair. Just cos you’re passionate about a game doesn’t give anyone the right to disrespect players their families etc.
