I visited this museum last August and got some great photos of people sitting next to statues, sometimes unintentionally mimicking the statues. Great advice from John. RIP.
In case I ever forget this special lesson with you John I´ll simply go back here ;-) By the way, right after this one I made one photograph which made it into the selection... I'm still working on it, stay tuned!
I wish I had your ability to explain why am I taking pictures. These days taking the picture is easy, not looking like a creep is the real challenge...
"Show man at his best!" I love that so much. So many things in the world that highlight humans at their worst, let's show the other side of the coin :)
400 A.S.A. BLACK AND WHITE FIlm Kodak D-76 1-1 for 8-12 minutes at 70 Degrees, time depends on how I rated the film, 200-800 a.s.a. I use a Nikon F3 camera with a nikkor 55mm micro 2.8 lens most of the time.
Interesting how you use a 55mm lens, people seem to go much wider these days. I prefer this as a classic standard focal length too. Use what you've got.
@@Crackdennumber1 they are different, the real sir roben shoot a lot, john free extremely hate shooting a lot that's why every pic he took become like a part of him, I think that's why john is better, anyway I enjoy watching them both and learning from them.

John is excellent motivator. I bet, he could sell sand to the Saudis.
Your work is totally fine something I always try to emulate and maybe improve just why being so materialistic about it. it is sad in my opinion.
