Hey, Coach! Your videos taught me a lot when I was first learning offense as a young coach, and I’ve got my own channel now talking Shanahan-McVay offense. Would love to come on your showcast sometime and talk about it with you!

I think the must have rpo’s to have is the tight end flat zone. Where the sniffer and rb are on the same side and the sniffer runs an arrow/bubble screen. Block the will, and play if then off of the mike. I would say double stacked receivers with wide splits so the defense has to show their true call and play if then off of Sam if it’s a pull read. The last one is out of empty. I stole it from rich Rodriguez when he had Denard Robinson. Qb blast and if/then off of backer with a seam route by number 1 receiver matched up with the linebacker.

what program did you use to draw and outline the gaps coach?

Ehhh. Only the last one is an rpo. I'll stretch the first into an rpo bc I've seen a lot of zone guys rebrand zone read as rpo with reading the DE for a bubble/now throw but the 2nd one is just midline option, idk why we're trying to relabel it haha.

Not trying to relabel. Just easier to communicate the gaps that need to be read.
