The USA Constitution protects the rights of everyone regardless of color, gender, age or sexual orientation. Black people also hate each other look at S Sudan, Rwanda, Cameroon, S. Africa etc, hate is not limited to the White people only. The AAs claim that they are hated but they will never give up their American citizenship for any African country citizenship. I am a Gambian living in London who owns 2 properties back home. I visit regularly and a big thank you to Juliet for showing my beautiful country to the world.
    One question which I notice often comes up here is why high walls ( fence ) around the compounds? It is simply for privacy and less about security. In Gambia we spend most of the day outside of the house in our compounds and you need privacy with that sort of lifestyle.
    Is like here in the UK, most of the day is spent behind the walls ( inside the house).

    • @ellamitchel441
      @ellamitchel441 Před 4 lety +2

      If the walls, not fences are only for privacy why are they all in concrete with those big gates? Can you do a wooden fence for eg. with a smaller iron gate?

    • @ansut3440
      @ansut3440 Před 4 lety +27

      Is about durability and cost of the wall. Vast majority of the walls are made of cement blocks( not concretre) which lasts a lot longer than wood in a hot and humid climate .

    • @danafoltin8114
      @danafoltin8114 Před 4 lety +2

      NO, NO, NO - 6 FT walls and iron bars on the windows are the first signs of high crime area ANYWHERE in the word!!! or at least in areas where people do not see a diffrence btv. whats yours it could be mine!

    • @yonab8649
      @yonab8649 Před 4 lety +19

      I don’t understand you people. The high walls and iron on the windows is why Gambia is so safe. African people know the world is beautiful the people in it are a different story. Like my grandpa say “ prevention beats cure”. Not because you don’t have high walls and iron on windows in your neighborhood don’t mean nothing. I lived in the most beautiful part of Minnesota and many of my neighbors houses were meth- crack addict- killer- beat your wife houses . No matter where you go in this world you’ll always have crazies.

I believe with our resources we can make a difference. I have been in Gambia for more than 10 times from the UK but through my research studies in Gambia it won't cost much to build a very good business especially grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, technology, carpentry, plumbing, electronics and you name them. We can definitely make a big change. Am planning a visit to meet Blaxit family where by we can come together and hold conferences a way forward with the government involved.

    You are a natural for Africa. You personify the saying, “I may not have been born in Africa, but Africa was born in me.” I live in a home in the states about the size of yours. I was fortunate to be able to pay off the mortgage when I retired, eliminating all of that thirty years worth of interest, and the full cost, after only seven years of mortgage financing was way more than what your estimated full cost will be. All of them should be free to enter their motherland. We should not be charging them no fee. Am a full Gambian that supports Repatration, we should be under no one jurisdiction but our own. I will hate to know that the BRITISH government is benefiting from these charges considering that they are responsible for the displacement of our people from their HOMELAND. It seem to me that they should be financing and assisting our families who's intensions is to return HOME. BLACK POWERS TO THE WORLD ❤️.

    Since you are getting solar, you might as well also get powerwalls which are essentially large batteries that you hook-up to your solar panels. They are about as big as a TV
    They charge up during the day and allow you to draw power from them during the night time when the sun is away(allowing you to keep lights on and your refrigerator etc) if you can afford a bunch of them you can power your whole house normally.

    i have mad love and respect for Gambians and their culture. I'm Somali raised in Sweden but I know a fair amount of Gambians in my city. In my eyes, they are the best examples of Muslims who can co-exist with others. It's because of their character in nature. They are proud and humble. Very laid-back but serious people. Fantastic people in general. Big up yourselves.

We should teach our kids science and techniques, it's sickening to see african children struggle to eat, when they are the builder of the future of our continent. We have to be clear, there is no way that this african children who can't eat as much as they need, would become as productive as young european or east asia or american, because they did not have a long and complete education, you can't study as well when you have nothing in your belly, and when you can't go to school because it's expensive, and you can't go in hollidays abroad and discover other cultures. We have to be precise and accurate about this problem, or we're just lying to ourselves.

THEY CAN'T INVENT THAT ON THEIR OWN WITH AN EMPTY BELLY. STOP LYING TO YOURSELF, AS LONG AS THE KIDS ON THE OTHER CONTINENT HAVE COMPUTERS AND BOOKS AND EAT AS MUCH AS THEY WANT BUT OUR KIDS HAVE NOTHING MORE THAN A SMALL BEDROOM WITHOUT LIGHT WE WILL REMAIN POORER. WE HAVE RESPONSABILITY TOWARDS ALL THIS CHILDREN !
