🐎🤔 Are you practicing the leg-yield, but you’re just not sure if your horse is actually crossing over? Do they slow down or just speed up instead of moving off your leg? 🥵 Teaching your horse to move sideways can be tricky because it’s not a natural movement for them. 🙋♀️🐴 But, don’t worry, I have a solution for you: get off and introduce the leg-yield from the ground first! Not only is it biomechanically easier for your horse to learn the movement without your on their back, but it is also way easier for you because you will be able to see when your horse is crossing over! 💯👉 Give it a try and I know that you will see a difference in your horse’s response under saddle. 🎉🏇 Want to learn more about how you can improve your riding through groundwork? 🔥🔥 Check out my Dressage Groundwork Masterclass, and learn all about how you can boost your horse’s training by introducing movements like shoulder-in, haunches-in, half-pass, piaffe, and more all from the ground! - Zábava
