Very good overview of qualities and some basic principles of drip irrigation systems (versus older open, higher pressure sprinkler systems). Topics include the advantages of the lower pressure drip irrigation, how to set up a basic drip system supply and emitters. Discusses filters, different water supplies, clogging, standard 1/2" supply and 1/4" tubings. This is a lecture with a few cuts to sample drip equipment and slides. The presentation is not an in-depth talk showing a step-by-step example of setting up an actual system. It was very useful for me. I have over 30 years experience of working with older sprinkler and drip irrigation systems but was unaware of the pressure differences, pressure regulators, need for filtering in most drip systems and how to use different drip rates in different soils. The presenter is pleasant and knowledgeable but often halting in his delivery and sometimes goes off microphone. Regardless of the minor negative criticism, I learned a lot!
