The secret is not to use a beard trimmer but a hair trimmer, trust me. I had like 4-5 diff beard trimmer last 10 years and last year i bought a quite expensive hair trimmer instead with diff sizes and length and damn, my beard looking perfect, no problem and the battery before u need to charge it is over 120 min, its amazing! :))

trimming "with the grain" is a way to keep length with short guards. when i go short, i trim down with a 12mm and the hairs are much longer than trimming against the grain. it takes out bulk more than length and leaves my beard looking fuller and thicker. but you may not like that look.

The Braun series 7 is brilliant. It’s half the price of the brio and cuts very well. It charges in an hour and will last a month on one charge
Just bought the brio and I have a similar beard size … what clipper do you use for your beard and mustache ? Usually go to barber but trying to trim myself
lol what bro? He says in the video which blades he uses, he says he doesn’t use “this” one because his beard isn’t long enough. So obviously he uses the three smaller sizes and not the largest size.

I was looking at reviews and saw the Brio. I saw some weird websites for the Brio pretending to be reviews but were really advertisements. I wasn’t going to even give it a consideration until I started seeing more reviews for them. I’m hoping these are genuine reviews and they aren’t just paying for them to compete with the massive amounts of money Manscaped spends on advertising. The thing that you said that really got me is that the Manscaped Hedge Trimmer isn’t good for longer beards which is what I find to be 99% of the time with beard trimmers and I do not understand it one bit lol. I’m thinking I’m going to give the V2 a shot but still looking around. Brio really needs to stop with the weird pretend reviews / ads though. I bet they are losing potential customers because of it. Any customers gained is probably a wash with the ones who see those ads and say that’s a no from me dawg.

Would this make a good all-around stubble and short beard trimmer? I’ve been struggling to find one for this use.
I would use the low settings on the adjustable guard to maintain stubble or short beard and the base blade to edge. My only concern is the bulkiness of the guard and getting in the tight spots like under the nose.
I think Manscaped will eventually make a beard trimmer that will probably be the best on the market.
They definitely cut corners because their brand value goes a long way and they purposely leave in problems so they can claim that it's been fixed in their 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 upgrades they release almost every year.
I doubt that, their company tend to focus on advertisement more than their products. Brio on the other hand speaks for itself.
Disagree, manscaped is the ad brand focused on marketing at high prices for similar quality to others and not very efficient/they cut corners a lot. Brio's quality speaks for itself and trimmers from 5 years ago still work extremely well today

These trimmers really seem great at first ( silent and powerful) but after a few months that 🛑 stops they are 100% faulty and some time stop Working completely .
The warranty is bogus and this company discontinues their products constantly so say Goodbye 👋🏻 to replacement parts ( which you definitely need, cause product will STOP WORKING its only a matter of time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$
