    Hi Huddison, Thank you for these Tutorials, they really help. I just got my Flight Yoke System and did manage to get it installed. Only problem I had was the screws that connect the Throttle and it's Clamp were not in the box. This was solved by a trip to the hardware store. By the way, if anyone else has this happen the size is M4-.70 x 12. They come 12 in a package and I only needed 4, but I have a second USB Throttle coming Tuesday, for multi-engine aircraft, which is mainly what I fly (the Beechcraft Baron being my Favorite). This second Throttle, as I said, is connected to either the Yoke itself or straight to the computer with a USB connector. My question is, do you, or anyone else know any Pros and Cons of either method of installation? I do have another Question. I saw in a previous Vid that you mentioned that the Velcro strips on your Throttle assembly do not come with the unit. My question is what are they for? Do they have a purpose or are they purely Cosmetic? Again, Thanks for the Great Tutorials!

    • @Mamneth
      @Mamneth Před 3 lety

      I understand the Velcro now... although they don't really interest me personally, at this time..., I can see where these handles would be great for those interested in jet airliners. Still working on my Sensitity Settings... have tried to take-off & land only twice now but I see this Yoke flying is going to take a bit of time and effort to get used to after using the Thrustmaster Hotas One. I can take-off ok but I cannot seem to pull off a successful landing as yet. Going to keep working at it though... may have to back off the Baron for a while and try something a little easier to control. Anyhow, Thanks for All your Tutorials, they are really helping me to get into Flight Simming!

When the yoke is moved less than a 1/4’ to the left, it shoots immediately to full left! Same with down movement! The Up and right movements work perfectly normal. Hi Ed, Congratulations on your new flight yoke! Re: reverse throttle: see this other video of mine: czcams.com/video/jgAG4PkyDBc/video.html
      Re Mode selector switch: I've not found a good use for this in MSFS (aside from setting it to something like toggle landing brakes); if you want to set up different controls schemes for different aircraft, you are best doing this in the MSFS controls profiles settings - i.e. set up a different profile there, for each aircraft.

      @eds5709 Před 2 lety +2

      @@Huddison Thanks for your reply. (How could I have missed your video about 'reverse thrust'?)
      Anyway, looks easy enough to assign key-switches to this command and create separate profiles for Jets. Being Dutch it's sometimes difficult to find the right command.
      We seem to have about the same history / experience with Fs. I got hooked with the Polygons of the very first version and have been upgrading since. FS has been a second hobby for me as I'm a Music composer, but it's still great to just soar and enjoy the experience.
      If you ever grow tired of flying I'd recommend to start compose music. It's equally satisfying and your not limited in any way.
      In Fs "the sky is the limit" Composers go "where no man has gone before".

    • @Huddison
      @Huddison  Před 2 lety

      Rudder Trim? No, you want a Rudder axis to taxi on the ground (move your view down to the rudder pedals to ensure they are moving when you press the associated button etc). If you don't have rudder pedals, an Xbox controller plugged in will let you do this with its trigger buttons. Or use the default keyboard assignments for rudder control.
