    Love the 1L size but the one strap on the back annoyed the crap out of me. Went back to the 3L myself because of that reason.

      Seems like a lot of people feel the same way. Hopefully they update it to have two in the next iteration. I will say after using it a couple months it does have its upsides. I take it off and on my flip 12 fast depending on my use for the day. The size is perfect in my opinion.

    Dan, how do you attach it to the cooler and then remove it to use as a fanny pack?

    • @dlowder
      @dlowder  Před 22 dny

      The backside of the sidekick has velcro attachment latches that slide through the molle loops that are on the cooler and the waste strap that Yeti sells. Most of Yeti’s bags have Molle attachment points so that you can customize the bag with different accessories such as the Sidekick. I have a link to the strap in the video description. It will show you in closer detail.

    Hi Dan, where did you get your Yeti patch on your cooler?

    • @dlowder
      @dlowder  Před měsícem

      Hi Hugo 👋🏼,
      They have them on the Yeti website! Search “patch” you will see “built for the wild” patch. Click the yellow dot just under it and that should be it.
      It’s my fav patch at the moment. Makes the black bags really pop!

      @@dlowderdo you think the yeti 12 is a good use for a lunchbox to take to work? I deliver for fed ex and it’s hard to eat

    3L is waaaay too big!
    I can’t stand looking at my Camp Green 3L on my Flip 8 or 12

      I feel people get those coolers for the compact size and how easy they are to carry around. That's why I think the 1L is a better fit for those coolers in particular. Adding a 3L or 6L starts making it bulky and impacting usability. Of course at the end of the day it comes down to your particular use case.

      @@dlowder I agree 💯 about making it more portable but aesthetically it just looks “off putting”. Take for example that the same 3L pouch looks more compatible with my Camino 35 which is a bigger bag. In that instance it doesn’t look so out of place. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to think this way and for that reason alone I’m glad you addressed it here and hopefully YETI takes notice and makes them more sleek

      @@j_riv_23 Yeti knows what they are doing. They are not going to get it right the first time or two. They want us to buy as many we can and then some.
