MJ’s ability to grab the ball with one hand gives him such advantage in the air. Even if he collides in the air he doesn’t loose the ball. I just can’t stop watch these old clips. Thanks for putting these together.

103 dunks in 103 games at age 35. Its pretty incredible, especially for a shooting guard. So many of the dunks were in the half court game too, not just on fast breaks.

There are only a few elite who can stay this elite at this point at their age, with all decades of playing. MJ was remarkable. He played ALL 82 games that year as well. Didn't take..... "breaks".
Jordan averaged 38.8 minutes per game that season. His career avg mins per game was 38.3.
That being said, I don't want to see any player overexert themselves if there is no reason to at risk of injury. It says a lot about how healthy Jordan kept himself.

Back then I always thought that 98 Jordan was not that "Air" anymore, I mean his jump and dunk was so cool before the retirement. But now I think for 35 years old and 6'6 guard he was not bad at all, plus he still did many acrobatic lay up that I thought every superstar could do it, until he retired, then I realize that those lay up was so amazing and it was rarely done, yeah sometime nowday player did lay up like that but it doesn't look as good as Jordan, not that smooth, ah I miss it a lot..
PS: You should do Jordan lay up in 98

Using 2 hand on a dunk was rare from MJ. Believe it had to do with MJ s vertical being so high, along with a long hang time, using 2 hands on his vertical was dangerous as those moves were exposed to defenders sliding in from behind of once in air, a small bump will cause a fall to back. MJ s vertical was too high and his speed to basket made it risky to do 2 hand dunks in traffic...

One of the best ever 2 handed dunk by Wilkins is when he took off 12 FEET away from rim on lone fast break WITH 1 LEG TAKE OFF. CZcams has video of the top 100 dunks by Wilkins and that 2 handed dunk was at # 28 but to me it is # 1 . Those top of the key 2 handed dunks are VERY RARE ANYWHERE!!!

In hindight I should have stayed longer and gone to more games! Was only there 3 nights just to go to that game! These are a 34-35 year old dunking, so people should lower their expectations, even if it's Jordan.

Here’s one big difference between MJ and LeBron… After these dunks, LeBron would be celebrating like a clown while MJ is halfway back down the floor on D…

Most of these dunks are plain simple dunks. Even a less athletic player can do these stuff. Nothing fancy nor exciting just extending the arm and that's it. Overrated.

@Michael Elam yes he is. And on the contrary, Vince Carter can do 360 and windmill in his 40's.

@@mrrekless2733 Yeah nice try. And Vince is far far better dunker than MJ was. He won't be in the conversation of the "greatest" dunker if he is not that truly great in the dunking department. And hey in case that you forgot, may I remind you that Vince is doing 360's and windmills far late in his career. Question is, does a prime MJ does an actual 360 in his career?
