I was the Leona who recognized him! I recognized his IGN, but I couldn’t remember from where. I have Porofessor and it didn’t say I played against him before so I was thinking… he’s playing an off meta mid and he has a funny IGN… is it Pekin doing his off meta mid climb? I never thought I’d actually get to face him.

@@tristanridley1601 Initially I was going mid to hexflash over the raptor wall to kill him under tower. I thought his R would have been on cooldown since he was just fighting mid, but then my team started camping that bush that got warded. I didn't think he had vision of me when I actually did flash in and his R caught me off guard. Besides that, I usually go for plays where I might be killing myself to split the fight so my teammates can win on the other side. As soon as Sona showed up, I knew it was a 3v4 so I was hoping Kaisa and Rengar would kill Sona and Varus if I distracted Fiddle and Xayah. Even I don't get Xayah then it's still an even trade if their bot lane dies since it's 2 for 2 (if we count Graves dying before this).
Completely unrelated, but there was something Pekin said that boosted my confidence. I always wonder if I am roaming enough because sometimes I feel like I stay bot lane for too long especially in matchups like this where I am against a Sona Varus who can't threaten my ADC early. At some point during the match, Pekin mentioned that I came mid about 3 times already so he had to look to see where I was and then he warded a bush as I was mid again. It gave me confidence that I was roaming enough.
Hey Pekin, I would love to see Aphelios mid! I don’t know what the champ does + I never see him played mid so I think that would be very original and cool

i love axiom arc on xayah because with how useful her ult is and how short its cd is as default it becomes almost defensive item
Sejuani mid. She's a monster once she hits her lvl 6 powerspike and can instantly kill lane opponents with that + electrocute and ignite. I suggest Hextech Rocketbelt for lots of magic pen and the extra dash and damage.
Xayah is just a super fun champ, man. I generally hate playing ADCs but Xayah has a really cool and unique playstyle that I just love. And a decent amount of nuance. Really glad we got 2 games from Pekin.
Would be cool to see again, too - obviously there's still room to grow with this champ and I love seeing her in midlane!
Would love to see Lillia Mid or Yorick Mid both have pretty crazy roam ability.

I love Xayah but I strongly dislike the ADC role so it's good to see lethality is alive again (unless it never died but I haven't seen it recently), love mages and Xayah feels a lot like one!
My request is just ADCs mid in general. Love seeing/playing it, and I've noticed it usually does well for you view-wise! I think a lot of us love ADC champs but not the role

Ap gnar with w max or shaco mid would be nice to see. Maybe even tank (or some kind of tank item in the buid and maybe conqueror) fiddle mid would be interesting. Keep up the nice vids!

I remember this crit Zhin Xiao lane pick being really cool in high elo earlier this season. It went Galeforce>Navori so you'll have to cook up a new path with the item changes.
Maybe now Navori first could be a pretty sick spike, then Stormrazor ms could help you stick. Shieldbow is a cool option for later, as is new BT for raw AD. Slap on a last whisper item and it's a build. Of course you may need to go Maw/DD or tank later instead, depending how it goes.
I remember the important runes for Xayah mid were Aery and Scorch. It's so easy to get frequent small pokes in with Xayah's Q, E and Passive that the short cooldowns on both Aery and Scorch contribute a lot of damage to the otherwise negligible early poke.
And yeah, the reason Xayah mid was meta last time was they lowered her Q cooldown to try and get her played again, as level 1 Q, which you maxed last, felt bad on ADC Xayah.
This resulted in people building Lethality botlane which did very well, and thus people taking her mid. It was later countered by Kai'sa mid after her W AP buffs made her an artillery mage.
Xayah was shortly nerfed out of mid by raising her Q cooldown again. Phreak has actually somewhat recently said that Xayah's Q is unlikely to get another buff like that to prevent this from happening again.
What about AP Ezreal mid? All you have to do is rush Shiv first (It has INSANE AP ratio against minion), which gives you the wave clear AP Ezreal always lacked, then build all your AP Items.
rushing shiv = no mana. need to go biscuit and some mana starting item to work through lane.
If you run shiv you likely to run it like after 3rd or 4th item bro. Having shiv first item wont give you damage and delay powerspike too hard.
@@gasoline9666 Its not difficult to not go oom in lane as ezreal. You don't need to spam every ability off cooldown in laning.
Off meta mid is my favorite series you've made. Highly entertaining and informative. Skarner ap tank is my suggestion. Keep up the fun content!

i wonder if on-hit lucian is any good, since his passive applies 100% on hit effects, but only 60% of ad on the second shot, so things like bork, wit's end, hydra, manamune, etc. still get insane value out of it. probably still run navori's since the cooldown passive is too good

If you use Q then E imediatly the feather have a longer range also collector third item would be the best since it gives crit and lethal (ur e scales with crit)
