Sometimes, we want to limit the number of IP routes we have in our IP routing table. If we're using OSPF as our routing protocol, there are three basic ways to perform route filtering, which allows us to exclude specific IP routes from our router's IP routing table.
In this video, you'll learn what those three approaches are, and you'll see how to configure two of them.
Beyond knowing how to configure routers at the command line interface (CLI), you also need to be what Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins calls a "Hybrid Engineer," where you have both CLI skills and programming skills.
