I just looked up Earth Angels, and my life finally makes sense to me. This is me to a tee, yet I had no clue. It even explains why I was born to a very narcissistic father whose mother really went out of her way throughout my childhood to let me know she really didn't like me. It explains why all of my romantic relationships were deliberately sabotaged by my partners by cheating to make me leave, even though they all said they wanted to marry me. I always thought I just wasn't good enough to be truly loved and/or chosen. All of the theraphy and self work I've done never seemed to alleviate the deep feel8ng of not belonging anywhere. I feel oddly relieved. I never could understand before. I also just felt a feeling of true peace descend upon me as I've been typing this.
