  • This kinetic wind sculpture is called "Getting Your Bearings" and was
    made by Reno, Nevada, artist David Boyer. It is made of steel and
    stainless steel. This wind sculpture had made its first public art
    appearance at the 2014 Burning Man festival, an arts and music event
    held each Labor Day in the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada.

    Magnificent work. I want to weld up my own kinetic sculptures with my powerarc welder. I will need to start much, much smaller than that though. Wonderful work.

    What do you use to bend the stainless steel plate with to make each one so perfect? I would love to know. Beautiful!!
