- Here is the latest cbd update. Our son is 9 years old and was diagnosed with autism and adhd. We have been giving Christian cbd for 2 years now and recently changed it from thc free to full spectrum cbd oil (with thc)
We are doing this after discussing with my son’s pediatrician first. We are not giving medical advice this is our experience. Please consult with a medical professional before attempting.

I love all your videos!! I have learned so many things from them. As a first time mom to a son on the spectrum who is also non verbal. Please dont stop making your videos!

That is one of the tinctures / oils I use for my son. I also use the CBDv from Myriams Hemp and another one that does have THC. He is a legal patient here in Texas. I used them to mainly treat behaviors because when he hit puberty it was very unexpected. Thank God for medical cannabis. We get discounts for Lazarus and Myriams because Jacob has the official diagnosis and I submitted his documentation with the diagnosis. Look into the terpenes. We also decided to stay away from medications for behaviors. We have been using cbd oils. God bless!
Thank you so much for sharing!! You have no idea how much I appreciate this video. I've always wanted to get a prescription for my kids with non-verbal Autism but I'm hesitant since the doctors in my area are not too understanding. Actually, they don't know anything about Autism. My daughter is now grinding her teeth continuously to the point where her dentin is exposed. She also slaps her head. My son has three new stims... snapping his fingers every second of the day, rocking back and forth, and bobbing his head. I think it's time to look for another alternative since therapy is not helping.
Omg im so sorry to hear your drs are not being very helpful. I wish it was accessible for everyone without medical cards 😔.
My son gets medical marijuana THC he's moderate to severe and this helps him so much!!!!! He's been on it two years!! It was a lot of trial and error but once we figured it out it's amazing he sleeps through out the night no more meltdowns
Do you go to any doctor or is there a special doctor who prescribes it for kids with Austim? Thanks!
@@AmyLeeAngelLove you would have to talk to a medical marijuana physician. I live in Pa so medical marijuana is legal here.
@@kellyshimey825 Thank you for letting me know! I live in PA as well.. an hour from Pittsburgh. I'll see if I can find one in my town. Thanks again! Much appreciated!
@@AmyLeeAngelLove No problem!! I'm happy to help I'm from Scranton that's pretty cool you live in Pa too!! This doctor located out of Allentown it was over the phone David A. Gordon, MD
its a process but so worth it!!!
I feel bad for him because you don’t know what is hurting him and he can’t talk I know you guys men I wish that he could talk so we can know what is hurt him💙💙
Thank you for sharing your experience. As an autistic adult, I have my medical card. I used to be on anti anxiety medication but I almost felt numb. I feel better and function better now. I just wish insurance covered these options.
Thanks for sharing
The main thing is you have a small solution appreciate every day as it comes.try fish oil
We are in a state that allows this as well, but the doctor is recommending respirdol-should we try respirdol first? Do developmental peds look down on you for jumping to medical cannabis you th8ngs?
Think?*
That’s a personal choice that can only be made by the family but I’m sure if I take my son to a psychiatrist they would recommend medication first as well as cbd is not approved by fda for autism it’s just something that a lot of families try for autism. I find that it’s easier for me to give cbd as its natural vs a pharmaceutical medication first. It’s just scarier for me to do actual medication. As for doctors, my pediatrician was super understanding. I find I tense up a bit when I tell people in person that he takes cbd but it’s more so a reaction because idk how people will take it. So it may just be something internal I deal with vs everyone looking down at me for using it.
