Let me say one thing Papa YG was really really mean to the trainee..... Not because he hate them but because he knows very well that the outside world is cruel enough so in order for them to survive, he trained them harshly😊

I've watched YGTB for 8765132465 times but I would watch it again with you. YG survival shows, including this one, is not for the weak of heart. You'll surely end up loving them more. Thank you for loving Treasure.
Fun fact: Yedam's school that they showed at the beginning is SOPA (Seoul Performing Arts High School). A lot of idols attend here. The yellow uniform is pretty iconic among Kpop fans.

You know this is the reason why Junkyu is my bias, I'm one of the people who feel disappointed with their audition in mixnine cause honestly they really lack something that time, and I'm really disappointed with Junkyu dance, and I get it why jyp criticized him that time, but there's that one thing I don't really understand until now why Jyp said this to him "there's no special about you", like when junkyu started singing, I was like he knows how to deliver the song, his voice is unique, and you can understand what's his trying to deliver by using that song, so why in the heck jyp would tell that kind of words to him, I know he really sucks at dancing that time, but his voice was so special. I'm very disappointed about myself why I judge him by a single performance, and at the same time I'm glad that Junkyu proved to me and to other people why he deserve to debut. I'm so proud of this boy, he trained for five years as a trainee and yet he only received criticism, to the point he lost his confidence, that's why no matter what people say to yhs I'm still thankful for him for not giving up on Junkyu because he knew that this boy is born to be a TREASURE. Thank you Junkyu for not giving up on your dream, and the moment you said this line "I want people to see me happy" it's now the moment you're doing right now as an idol, and as an inspiration. Thank ja for reacting to this, and thank you for defending my boys, they deserve all the love in this world so I hope people keep supporting my boys they went through a lot just to be an Idol.

That's the difference between YG and JYP. In YG he looks not just for talent but also those with potential. From voice coaches to choreographers, they received criticisms and they would received harsher criticisms from YG. I think it's better to receive such and improve during their time as trainees than debut and receive criticisms from the public...
Look at them now. The public now attacks them for other things just because they are from YGE, but they can't question their talent.

they are just literal babies at that time. the amount of pain I felt watching them getting hurt and cry is unbearable sometimes when I remember it. however I’m still glad they had experience this, because it has prepared them to the more cruel reality. "Treasure" used to debut as 7 and "Magnum" japanese unit with 6 member and full unit is "Treasure13". But then ha-yoonbin from magnum out before debut so YG decide to debut them as 1 that is Treasure like we see now.

The saddest thing about this show is that the trainees treated each other as brothers, no matter what. So you kind of feel that sadness if ever someone left. Yet gladly, most of the trainees were able to debut successfully in other groups like BX and Seunghoon.
