People always like to say Janet can't sing but her backing vocals is the most badass harmonizing she does.
Her vocal harmonies are actually her vocals fed into a synthesizer at time. All the ooooos ahhhhhs and the improv is used as an instrument on the keyboard. Jimmy and Terry were pretty genius in doing that.
