Ok
first hero i bought is Corvus cause why wouldn't i want a hero that makes me actually focus on the game
HBOMB: Explaining about Corvus and how to use him
Me: What am I hearing... Am I being too dumb to play him? That spell and that spell
Let's be honest, just spam the spells and you'll be fine 😆

Important tip to make playing him much easier
Instead of clicking on corvus, just press u or your respectove hero button.
This is extra helpful if you need to see something the menu might obscure - just click on a monkey that will put the upgrade menu on the other side and then press u to access the spellbook.
True! I need to get better at doing that for him and Geraldo

Sounds really hard but fun to use and seems like a very strong hero once mastered
He can actually solo chimps if starting money was increased to 1000
Also, without spending any more money.
@@Dni..cap
@@FlyingDilPickle do some research before calling it "cap"
@@FlyingDilPickle theres literally a video on youtube
This video sorta mentions it in an off-hand way, but getting Corvus camo detection early really helps.
I find that if I really wanna try-hard with this character its worth paying for a 3-0-0 sub or even a monkey village early.
Corvus is my favorite hero but i have no idea how to use him. Really helpful vid
Love this series, looking forward to more!
Not a big fan of micro for Corvus, but he definitely helps in maps like Muddy Puddles and Geared.
He makes those maps 10× easier. A bunch of stalling and a B.E.Z. and you're set
I despised Geared CHIMPS because I was always getting set back from getting my gamewinning towers thanks to some small issue. As soon as I got Corvus, it was so much easier.
I still prefer to use Geraldo
I wish I had Corvus for when I was beating Geared! I hated that map
You can end the recovery phase a little bit before nourishment is off cooldown, because recovery costs mana to cast as well so you can let him attack a little bit during the last part of the cooldown to regain the mana used to cast the spell
What i think is the most insane part is, that his combos can do the most damage of all Heros and also hes the only way to gain HP (and that really fast) I used his HP regen spell and got 1000 HP after 3 uses. Also extremly useful for Bossevents, because they steal life and you need much HP to survive
love the use of the cotl ost for bg music heh
Cult of the Lamb music got me rocking out
Always a good day when hbomb uploads
I've only recently started using him. He's surprisingly fun, especially in co-op. It's fairly easy to convince people to let me start with him, and using Replenishment to continuously make him stronger turns him into basically a "get out of jail free" card for tough rounds like 63
I know he's intimidating, but give him a shot! He's very fun
Fr this waa the type of hero i was waiting for
A micro heavy hero that can do much more if you play your cards right (such as soloing chimps)
Corvus is actually way stronger when playing with friends because you can focus more on him
■ This is the only Hero Guide I watched because Corvus is so complex, I don't have the patience needed to test him until I get how I should use him.
Sandbox is a good way to get used to him

The only thing I want relating to this hero is an auto-sacrifice (mana) button.
nourishment recovery 👍
So now that Recovery can no longer be used on nourishment what do we use it for? Are there other spells that benefit from it or should we just not bother?
I sometimes forget to use his spells tbh 💀
Lmao the Cult of the Lamb music! Hahahaha
Lol, we love CotL!
I was looking if anyone else noticed! The music in that game is awesome
I just HATE the fact that mobile player has to click on the skill and then click cast. Why not just let us double tap the spells?
Cool
Yo im here cuz of chomchom
This would be great if I had him 😭 5k more to go
Haha, you got this
just play a bunch of beginner and intermediate maps on hard and do the advanced challenges
Let's see how many combos people can come up with Corvus 🤣🤣🤣
Knockback effects (Distraction Ninja, Wind Druid, etc) can be nice to shove more bloons back into Corvus' range, similar strat that Rubber to Gold Alchemist can use.
Corvus is psi but the magic needs his steps in
Curvus.
he's so op that i don't even want to use him until he's turned down a good notch lol
funfact: Setting Corvus to strong early maximizes mana gain in most cases. It all depends on clean-up.
I think his third constant drain ability (the aoe dmg) is underrated, especially if your runs are less sweaty. You can still pop nourish and even recover with using his third hero ability to cover the intirrum. I really enjoy playing DoT heavy playstyles so it is a natural fit that also offers the flexibility of popping out of aoe-form into target annihilation form!
I love how well Corvus can trivialize round 40 and 60. for 40 agression split should be enough woth spear to clean up. for 60 agression split blades should be enough, but on shorter tracks spear may also be required once the first layer pops.
Double angry hands is a fun albeit more challenging combo to perform.
I need to try out malevolence more. It was underwhelming compared to his other spells (understandably so as they're super strong), but I wouldn't mind pairing him with a Reactor. That'd be some fun, constant damage
@@Hbomb Attack speed and pierce simply do nothing for the aura while damage might but Im not entirely certain, I think its not entirely important to get Homeland or Sun God buff on corvus is what I mean, afterall his uber-late potential is dubious at best anyway. (Bosses u could go either way rlly) Permabrew and Ultraboost are likily not necessary as they really only work well for the Big Slappy Hands. My testing under superbuff showed the Ancestral Might gains the most overall for any buff, but the Blades are also quite good when buffed. The thing most people overlook is the Unstable Concoction-like effect that comes with Corvus's standard Haunt attack, this has a knock on effect of being a force-multiplier in the blimp-heavy rounds when paired with a x-3-x Alch.
The setup that I find works best is when corvus is paired with slows, stalls, and damage-amplification (full debuff), as well as reactor sub + ring of fire to improve overall tick-rate of overal DoT. One can flex around glue paths, but middle path offers the greatest potential overall, due to its 100% uptime capability and the strength of it's debuff. Mortars also provide a lot of flexibility as all three paths can synergize greatly. Top path Wizard is absurdly strong when used to patch over Corvus's general weakness towards blimps. And we cannot forget to throw an Embrittlement in either, as it should go without saying that the ice shards effect will scale exponentially with the specific buffs given to corvus.
My final piece of input is that I would really appreciate a PSA made from one or more of the top Bloons content creators that it will hold Corvus back from showing his true potential when using global targetted attacks that kill bloons at the entrance before being able to get haunted. Jungle Druids, Snipers, Neva-Miss/Spec, Heli's set to pursuit, and any aimed retical based attack set to the very front of the track are notable examples of how not to do corvus. It is in the same vein as utilizing 4x 0-2-4 Alchs + 0-2-5 Engie where you wouldnt want to prevent the bloons from being popped before they are made worth more money by those two towers. Coincidentally Alch Trap farming works very well with Corvus so long as you dont allow corvus to pop leads.
Thanks for reading! [You can use however much of this comment you wish when writing scripts, if u wanna be extra spicey show me a communist monkey ;) ]
Epic
Sooo anyone else here manage to master corvus without any tutorial?
For me kinda, Im not too good at BTD6 but it was kind of love at first sight with corvus for me and the ability to have more control over the tower, I just started playing recently about a month ago and he was the first thing I spent monkey money on. The trick is to use echo and overload to beat almost anything, and for longer rushes like 95 use ancestral might and storm as ancestral might can take care of MOABS and storm keeps lessers in check after, and if things are too overwhelming pop his ritual, thats what I learned on my own and was about the same as in the video.
What if you use nourishment on a level 20 Corvus
You actually just get money!

💀
Heres the thing
Have to micro him all game
Not fun unless your a micro god
Insanely powerful if used correctly
Beginner's and casual players worst nightmare
Corvus is great and all, but I don’t see him usurping Geraldo as #1 hero juust yet. Maybe in the future he will
I hope they get rid of the nourishment spell and just make Corvus level faster.
Controversial opinion but hear me out...
Corvus is fun, he is my favorite hero. Yes, I said it.
nah u actually a psycho
Honestly barely requires any sort of micro and in multiplayer you can focus 100% on him and give all the money to your ally
so real, micro is a small price to pay for saveup
He’s so fun, also lets you save up for other towers in the meantime.
I can't tell if these replies are joking or not.

Hi!
Hi!

OK
I always find it funny how people can't pronounce giganotosaurus. It's just giga-noto-saurus (noto pronounced note-oh), and it literally means large back. But, I guess not many people also have a background in biology and have heard things like notochord
How to effectively use Corvus
You don’t
I haven't, outside of his tutorial mission. Of course, I also haven't unlocked him yet, but I don't see that changing even then
@@RinJackson funnily enough, I unlocked Corvus last week thanks to the MrBeast event and his spells are a lot of fun, and if you use his spells decently you can save a lot of money, for example, I’ve beaten a map with only Corvus, the free dart monkey, 4-2-0 buccaneer and a 0-2-0 monkey village, or other time when I beat a map with only Corvus, a super juggernaut, 4-2-0 monkey village and an energizer
I think he's good but I'm too lazy to learn his spells
Fair, I think that's most people
Bloons TD? Nah man, Corvus is playing Bloons RTS.
I hate the fact that he is just stronger than every other hero
it's balanced out because you have to put alot of effort into actually putting it into good use unlike other heroes which have their niches in support or damage. You can either have a fun laid back approach to beating levels or constantly micro manage corvus spells up till the mid game to have an easier end game.
@@Juan-tj7xs that's true though if you wanna "optimise" your game you no longer can just play a laid back game and just do good upgrade and placement but you also have yo micro
@@symus29165 yep that's a good point. But still, that optimisation isn't really necessary unless you are trying to do a self imposed challenge. Every other things is better with other heroes but if you find using corvus fun, he gets the job done.

Psi is so much better and way less hastle 😭
That’s just wrong psi is easier for sure but corvus can 2tc and can solo after the nerf to round 85
Would rather have a sniper monkey 😂
If you started with 1080 in chimps, you could do a 1 tower chimps. He can be good support too with his repel and frost. He dose way to much damage with overload. Now, can Psi even touch BADS, can Psi even get past the first round if you could start with her.
@@michaelgobeille4699 look if u wanna sit there and press abilities 24/7 be my guest, psi isn’t a starter monkey so no shit they won’t do good first round, psi is late game can take out Zomgs and everything under that with ease, and all at once with his ability, I’m not saying Corvus is weaker but Psi is way less work and still crazy strong late game
At least Corvus can pop bads
