- Hey guys I'm back with a fortnite optimization video where I go through some fortnite optimizations and fps boosters that actually ended up working for me. There's a lot of useful tweaks that increase fps and reduce input delay so hopefully these optimizations work for you too.

1. I'm aware that in-game tests do not account for variable factors such as player count, I will be doing my next benchmarks in replays
2. Obviously big optimizations such as disabling game bar were not mentioned because I do not feel like repeating myself after that last video

Thank you, it actually fixed my issues, this tutorial really felt like an optimization, not like those other CZcamsrs that just tell you to deactivate epic games options.
Those options work lmao, this guide is obviously more in depth though
The differenece in the frametime is actually outstanding people dont realise how much its the 1% lows that makes their edits and game feel so unresponsive

If im being hinest this is a great video , i did everything you said and it didnt really boost my fps at all but it made my fps stable during fights beginning and mid game so keep up the content bro hope we cna collab one day! ❤
Honestly at a certain point u cant optimize it anymore u have to upgrade ur cpu. I get no difference between 87 and 1% 3d resolution bc my cpu physically cant render that many frames lol

i have a very cpu heavy laptop (i9 13900hk, rtx 4050) and these cpu usage tweaks gave me a a huge performance boost (10-20fps, 30 fps higher 1% lows) so ty
the latency markers enabled during gameplay reduce fps
just to make one thing clear
put ur cpu minimum power state to 97% or less if ur facing heating issues. I have a 5600x and putting this to 97% lowered my temps by A LOT. It used to get to 84c sometimes. Now it runs cooler than 65c when I game and it also increased my performance by quite a ton
Oh shoot ok good to know, i js have a 5800h and laptop cpus are designed to handle higher temps so i think ill leave it at 100 tho

Wait, so did you put minimum and maximum at 97%? or or did you put minimum 97% and maximum 100%?

5:00 - Changing this setting overrides whatever you've set your Win32PrioritySeparation registry to btw. If you've set it to some random value, Programs would default it to 26 and Background Services would default it to 18.

disabling windows telemetry improved ping for me, might want to try it... Also, if your having problems with stuttering you have to build your shader cache, im not going to go in depth what that is a google search will help

its crazy that i get max 240 and min 160 with a gtx980 and a ryzen 5 3600 in br, in creative i get a solid 300 min 360 max
Thumbnail may be clickbaity, but this actually not only works for fortnite, it also improves fps in other games, i just didn’t do the high precision event timer because it can cause instability. Reg edits seemed to do the trick. Thanks! Works well on a ryzen 5 3600 and a RTX 2060 6GB

Yo i need some help when i was trying to set my priotority realtime on one of the fortniites in task manager it said access denied and wouldn't let me

I noticed in your video that you caped your fps at the refresh rate of your screen, it may seem like a smart move since you wont see anything more then 144 fps but it's recommended to put your fps cap slightly higher then the refresh rate of your monitor since it decreases input delay (exemple: monitor=144 hz / fps cap=160 or 165)
and if you notice any screen tearing feel free to use Gsync for Nvidia or FreeSync for AMD but other then that your video was very helpful ❤.

Hey bro I used to play on laptop it got around 320fps I game with worse specs I got very unstable 120 then monitor gave me stable 200 but only with an external monitor

nice but just saying if u had a 5900x and a 3080 then u didnt need to do these optimizations. yes you did get higher fps but anything above your monitor's max refresh rate doesnt rlly make a difference because you can't see it. so for example if u had a 240hz monitor the max fps that would actually be shown is 240, but with these optimizations only ur text changed. however, some of these optimizations lower input lag so thats good too : )

@@lecctron xmp provides a full enabled ram while gaming, so you have less input delay bc the system is going faster. If you go to your bios and the go to easy mode (somewhere in the bios should be a manual of where everything is. F1 F2 F3 etc). If youre in the easy modr js look there and youll see it if its there, if its not its not. Its probally a little bit above the bottom left.

Yes always plugged in and limit ur battery to 80% to make ur battery life longest

0:44 don't use realtime priority, maybe use high, i have heard that it sometimes lags your your recording program, as your pc has higher priority to run fortnite, it gives less performance to other processes, i'm saying this just in case it happens to someone

@lecctron In regedit when i go to change my gpu priority, scheduling etc. under "games" nothing appears. But when I go to another tab like Playback or Distribution, GPU priority and the rest of the settings appear for those. I looked all over google and cannot figure out why the settings under the games tab is not appearing. Please help!

Yoo please pump out more vids, also be careful with regedit modifications and make sure to leave ClearPageFileAtShutdown on default as changing it caused very long restarts for me. And one last thing, what are your specs? Thanks

do you reccomend any optimizations for my laptop i play on a laptop with I5 8350u 16 gigs of ram and intel uhd 620 and i play 720p at 50% 3d res and i get 120fps in creative and 40 - 70 in game so do you have any more optimizations to get stable 60?

it depends on the system. On my old laptop putting it anything above normal would cause crazy stutters on my current pc i can put it high with no problem. I have no idea about real time

Basically never game on battery and keep ur battery limited to 80%
