A story that follows students who journey through life and share experiences in sadness and joy. It starts with a transfer student who makes a new set of friends at her new school.

Shiyi’s relationship with his mom is like my relationship with my son. Love their humor and interactions.
This drama covers a long time period and it's amazing how the production crew managed to find the appropriate props that helped viewers enjoy the transitions. The changes were subtle, not jarring -- like Shiyi's hairstyle that initially made him look like John Travolta in Grease which eventually switched to a more modern haircut. Computer monitors transitioned from the bulky types that used up entire table surfaces, to the modern, slimmer ones and even to laptops. Vintage taxis and buses changed to the cars we now see in our roads. The actors' costume styling subtly changed too. How hard it must have been for the crew to fill up CL's store scenes with hundreds of cassette tapes and CDs or to look for a Walkman cassette player or retro landlines or flip phones to fulfill the needs of past episodes. Hats off to the director and production team for a job well done!

This is where things start to go downhill. I must say, I commend Shi Yi's self control. Once he sets his mind on something, he doesn't turn back. He stopped replying to her texts and did not reply to her emails for half a month after he left. Aaah it's heartbreaking. I guess, this is what they were both worried about, that if they admit these feelings of love, they would destroy their friendship. And that is what ended up happening , albeit because of misunderstandings. Now they're not even friends anymore .This episode is really saddening 💔

I really love this drama. The friendship is the best thing that this drama portrayed. I've seen other teen dramas where the second lead likes the girl and in the end the first lead ends up with the female lead but this drama is diff. Every character has their partner and the Cheng Leng is such an amazing friend. The way he supports his friends and making them realise what they truly want is so good. Shiyi...this guy literally makes us feel why don't we have one in the real life. There isn't too much drama like the other dramas where there isn't unwanted misunderstanding and everyone is so understanding and well deserving.
This drama is a mix of everything...it taught us friendship at its best, struggles, time changes and we can't be like the past anymore but the people who truly cherish you will be there with you forever.
I can't wait for another drama like this....
