Amantea - Phoenix on the Tyrrhenian Sea

A victim of Nazi and Mussollni's forces, Amantea was on the receiving end of allied bombs. Today it is a sleepy beach towns along the Tyrrhenian coast. Amantea is rich in history and natural beauty. Population wise it appears to be fewer than 20,000 full time residents.
