Incredibly helpful, clear instruction! I appreciate that you wore a mic/headset, too because so many online instructors rely on the cameraman's cell phone mic in an echo-y room making it really difficult to hear them. I’m a hairstylist/ salon manager…and I cut side bangs using the same technique but these were way too long and heavy for a side bang! I also think the way they were styled were not flattering.

I do more of an extreme angle on my own curtain fringe. I feel like it falls straight down into my face if I don’t have those short pieces splitting open the middle

Two quick questions:
1. For the curtain bang, is the elevation 90° off of the head shape?
2. If you were working with finer hair, and your sections would work back parallel (diagonally) would you still set your guide piece from the top piece of hair from the first triangular section? Hope that makes sense.

How do you adjust for cowlicks in the front hairline? My guess is you would need more weight- lower elevation- seem correct?
