the US government provided a “solution” to mend all the damage they did to the islands of Micronesia (bombing practice) by transporting some to Hawai’i (O’ahu mainly) to provide affordable housing and financial support. They also have a policy where more money is given depending on the amount of children in the household. so we see A LOT of keiki running around, but not in the best living conditions 😢

Polenesians are like from tonga, samoa, new zealand and hawaii. Melaneseians are from Fiji, png, solomon while your micro are from Guam, marshall islands etc
Micronesia is a group of islands, there talking about micros from mainly just two islands, Micronesia is Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap. Palau and Guam are independent from the federation and embarrassingly probably don’t want to be grouped in with micros because of the stigma in Hawaii
