    Yes, it is much cheaper now, but that is mainly because you're not paying rent and it must be said that your level of comfort has never been lower than it is now, so you might be comparing apples with pears, but the only important thing is that you are happy.

    I always enjoy budget videos whether province or city so thanks Mario. I'm far more city oriented and our place is a small condo in central Luzon, but as one would expect with a much higher monthly budget. The main thing is that a person feels happy in what ever setting they choose.

    Mario well done sir! I’m living here in States and it’s like there’s a hole in my pocket when I go anywhere! I can’t save money with my filipina so I’m already planning our retirement in the Philippines. Your living in the village is like camping out in my National parks here in Oklahoma so I feel it’s only going to make your stronger and appreciate the aircon more when you bring your filipina back to the city. Enjoyed your breakdown and looking forward to more videos my friend.

    Hi Mario it's Roy fm Scotland. I totally agree with you to do your roof first. I have a suggestion 4u for outdoor lighting. Buy only Solar lights. Good light should last 12-24 hours and you save a lot on electricity. Inside use rechargeable battery lights in every room again a big saving on electricity accept when you have to charge the batteries.
    Stone chips will stop you having a muddy path and reasonably inexpensive. PS: Some solar lights can be remote control with an automatic timer On/Off times.

I would love to see what kinds of food you will be getting for the 13K. Please consider making a video on the type of food you will be having in your present life style. Is that 100% Filipino style foods, 50% Filipino 50% Western style foods or some other combination. How much is cooking at home vs dining out & take home food. Thanks for the info.

    I would reinforce the house and prepare it for when the rains, winds and storms come. Growing vegetables in the yard can save a few times for free food. If you have space to grow something you can sell to a seller in the local market, then it’s free money. Cost only water and sunshine. My dad grew beans we call wing beans but some places call it cigarillos or cabay you use it for soups or stir fry. We sold it to the lady we buy our veggies at the local market from. It’s not like we were after money but its grown free from our front yard so it’s free money. You won’t get rich. It’s not going to replace income from a job. But I do know how to make money for nothing much. I take the lose change I collect from under the couch to the $50 bill I found under a chair in a casino and put it on a stock that pays a monthly dividend and reinvest itself whatever it makes. Personally, I bought a screen tent from Walmart and shipping it out to Philippines. Im going to set my tent (I will reinforce it for storm and rain) in on land and grow plants and trees. Im saving up for solar panels and a solar powered air conditioner. I’ll grow whatever sells in the local market and put whatever free money I get in stocks so it’s free money earning more free money. If you put $1000 in a stock I know, it pays you back $14 every month. It’s not a lot, but it’s free money earning while you sleep or don’t do anything. That pays more than anything you can get from a bank in interest income. It’s easy to show how to spend money. But everyone most probably wants to know how to make money and how to save money.

      @@daydreamvlogs I’m currently in the US so all I know is US stocks but I plan to look in the Philippine stock market when I get there. I bought 555 shares of a stock called Orchid Island (ORC) which pays me $25 a month in dividends which I use to pay for my phone plan so it’s free.The stock cost $3 per share or 150 pesos but pays .05 US cents or 2.75 pesos per share. For $1500 invested it will pay for my phone bill for life. In peso equivalent it’s 30k pesos earns 1,300 pesos a month. No selling. No work. Dividend goes straight to my account every month. No scam it’s publicly traded company. I buy stocks that pay monthly dividends and some called REITs. I dunno if your home country’s stock market has stocks like these. Or if the Philippines stock market has (Philippines has REITs by Ayala I heard) I don’t have problems if the stock market crash or stock price drops. If it does, I just buy more bec I still get paid from dividends regularly. The money is in dividends not trading so I won’t sell even if the price doubles bec it’s a perpetual cash cow. My portfolio is worth $15k only but it pays $500 a month in dividends. I will fly to Philippines when it makes $1000 a month (maybe next year) so I have free monthly money to pay for everything. This is how to make your own pension. Some people work hard. Some work smart. I don’t do either. I make people, money and things work so I don’t.

    Zainstalowanie się na wsi to dobry pomysł. Podobno idzie wielki kryzys. Poczyń więcej inwestycji np. panele słoneczne, pompy do wody itd.oczywiście mając w perspektywie ślub. Czy zaprosisz na ślub?

    • @daydreamvlogs
      @daydreamvlogs  Před 2 lety +2

      Cześć Daniel jak przyjechałem na Filipiny to jeden facet odpowiedział mi tak na twoje pytanie. Najlepszy biznes na filipinach to jest nie mieć biznesu na Filipinach. Na początku nie wziąłem tego na serio ale teraz juz wiem ze mial racje. Oczywiscie mozesz otworzyc biznes i osiągnąć wielki sukces tu na Filipinach ale zdecydowanie bardziej polecam żebyś stworzyl swoj dochod poza granicami filipin a tu wedawal pieniadze.

      nope i dont have. i check many travel insurances and they have limit of 6 months staying in one country so if you live more you don't have cover anyway. i see good option is medical insurance but it cost 25K. per month . that what i found it. maybe you have some advice here. thanks
