I own a 2020 G63 (in Sandy UT. Brilliant Blue) There have been no changes/improvements as of yet. Its my daily driver, and travel trailer hauler. I love this vehicle. I will own one till my dying day 😆

Some people from Africa traveled to UK by road and the G Wagon was outstanding. It never had any problem unlike the V8 landcruisers, Ford 150. G wagon exceptional.

Although I love the current G-Wagon, I must say I am very excited about the refresh that is coming in 2025. I hear the current model will stop production in early 2024, to make way for the refresh. Awesome video by the way!
Are you referring to the reports that they are making an electric G63 like a EQG
@@Big3DREAMER I am referring to the regular engine version expected to receive a refresh for 2025, although I am equally as excited for the EQG as well.

@@corydavis5636 the non electric engine. There will be a gasoline engine, and electric engine (EQG) refresh for the 2025 G-Wagon. In this case I’m specifically referring to the exterior and interior upgrades that are supposed to be made.
Hope there will be a 3 liter Version
Sport plus on the freeway is nice, I had m3 m4 m6 x5m I’ve never had people break their neck like the g63 tbh

I love the Mercedes G wagon! I can’t wait for the all electric Mercedes G wagon, I can’t wait to see it! I can’t drive because of my cerebral palsy, so I’m gonna get my all electric Mercedes G wagon and let other people drive it for me
I love love love it still has physical buttons. That’s almost worth the price tag alone. Trying to deal with a touchscreen while driving is dangerous and annoying.
My dream car for sure. Hopefully can upgrade way up from my Acura lol

who spec’d the door trim with plastic instead of leather stitching? How is that a good job? I expect nothing less than leather everywhere for this price tag
I personally don’t like a lot of real leather that’s put in cars. It doesn’t hold up well over time.

The G63 2024 may be the last of this design iteration. I have seen design ideas versioning the current G-Class design. Why vector away from what the fans endorse.
Future G-Class engines should be mainly hybrid.

Doesn't this new 2024 AMG G-63 have the newer MBUX Infotainment System? Why does this one have the old Infotainment version?
2024’s still old system. only 2025 will be updated.

Not to be a hater dude, but that was uninspired driving performance. Also, what do you mean it shouldn’t be that fast? You’re pushing out over 600 pound feet of torque and 5 1/2 to the wheel. You opened the hood and see what’s there. What do you think that’s going to be like?

As I think that will open yourself up to accidents....MORE likely than if you didn tthink this way. The chances are you shouldn't be in an accident if YOUR are careful as you should every day. Kind of like saying "the longer i walk my dog the more htance andogher dog will bite my dog or me..."...heh....
Yes there seems to be more dangerous drivers out today...these days...at least in MY area oddly tenough (e.g. people ignoring stop signs but signaling left turns, or shooting past sidewaks before slowing leaving a parking lot--dangerous for people walking on sidewalks...etc. I just have to walk "defensively....expect the unexpected.."...but i don't believe the logner i'm out walking my dog...

You are skipping so many features of the G. Start when battery is dead. The IWC clock. Just 2 things. Come on. Sad review video. Not sporty? It’s my 992 Turbo S in a Tank version. Come on….you could have done much much better!!!
I have a soft spot for the G-Wagon, but there's no getting around the horrible rear seat room. It's really bad for anyone over 5'5. I don't understand why Mercedes has never fixed that, especially considering the insane price tag. Love the truck, but could never own one as I require my vehicles to be functional, and the rear seats just aren't.
I fit back there just fine and I’m definitely not 5’5”😆
@@BenHardyCars - I could've sworn you were 5'5. But, hey, 5'4 is nothing to be ashamed of either! LOL. Seriously, though, I think if you'd put your knees forward instead of to the side while sitting back there, I suspect they'd have been right up against the back of the driver's seat. I've seen people my height (6'2) try to sit back there and sardines have looked more comfortable. Thanks for the review and response! From the front seats forward, it really is a stunning truck.

Consider a GLS63 to be more practical while also serve as a status car. G63 is a 99% flex since 96% of G owners never go off-roading.

G wagons are so disrespectful. They literally survive off the name. I have seen an explorer with more features. No extended sunroof. Old infotainment..

I drive an old 2002 G-class and it's the best car I've ever owned. Disgustingly robust and reliable. Even with zero tech it's still so much fun to drive

After owning GLS 450 and S550 I will never buy another Benz. After surprising my wife with BMW X7 it became obvious how much nicer from comfort to driving her X7 was. Mercedes seats are horrible. Just look how much the bottom seat tilts back--not natural. Also mercedes has too many cheep felt plastic, it is indeed a FORD of Germany. This one needs to be a little longer otherwise it looks like a bread truck. Too many moms driving. I would check out BMW first before you buy benz. No issues or regrets with my x7 at all and long trips are very comfortable
