Tycoon is building a name for himself at a steady pace, which I have to respect. What I don't respect are all of those who criticize him for no apparent reason. He battled outside of his home country and won convincingly. Granted, he didn't need to put forth much effort after Shotgun stumbled in every round, however, it's unfair to blame Tax for the lack of replay value. I will admit, a slower delivery from Tax could have improved his overall performance, but at least he had all three rounds of his content memorized. Shotgun did receive strong crowd reactions for the few bars he did spit, but that isn't enough to win a battle. He basically threw in the towel in the third round, so the people who are saying Shotgun won this are extremely bias. Tax, 3-0.
Agreed, almost 100%. This battle has some replay value to me. Suge was bananas at the start of his first. And this is a weaker performance from Tax than the Rum Nitty Battle. But You are exactly right about how people hate on Tax for No reason. It confuses me. Hes funny, surface level enough for me to not decode it, and at this point in time, has THE most interest in Canada for booking battles on the main KOTD stage than almost all other Canadians. I say hold the phone on Charron's Title Shot and have him and Tax Face off in a #1 Contenders Match.
Didn't expect very much from this battle... And still ended up being underwhelmed. That's not to say this was terrible or anything. But there have been some really good battles lately, and this just doesn't compare, I guess.

The battle was actually better than I expected. I'll give Suge the slight edge. Suge showed some growth with his bars. Tax's second was dope. But they both need to cut down on the jokes. Suge's Mexican grill bar was hard as hell, than he started saying immature racist shit that you'll typically see on Family Guy. Tax's fat jokes are even worst. These elementary jokes are killing battle rap. Everyone can blame Dizaster and Pat Stay for that because they made that corny shit popular. This isn't the game dozens, this is battle rap.

These two actually impressed me in this battle. I've seen a few of their battles before, and disliked them a lot, but this time was far better than their previous ones for sure.
I think Tax should shy away from the gun bars and talking about being a shooter and what not. His actual bars were far better than his gun bars. The Nelson Mandela line was spot on.
Suge had a bunch of nice lines as well. The mexican jokes fell flat, in my opinion especially when there was so many rapid fire at one point.

This was a 3-0 but not a body bag. Shotgun's first and 2nd had some decent bars and some dry spots but it's obvious this isn't his stage. Tycoon punched all three rounds with some cold spots. Those pauses/slip-ups from Suge hurt enough to make this a definite 3-0, especially in the last round. Tycoon was tight with his performance all 3.

it was not Suges best performance you can tell that he was not focused(choked up a few times), however you cant deny he had some good haymakers and the crowd loved it. Tycoon was more consistent and because of that he won.
