A happy 73rd birthday Justin, on 14th October. You are a true legendary genious, who, along with the other Moodies, have produced music which will live on forever.
He's also one of the nicest musicians around. I met him twice and he is very kind and appreciative of his fans. My mom was with me last year when I met Justin and he made her day putting his arm around her and posing for a picture.
Thank you so much for sharing ..Justin is often times very private and it was so interesting to get a glimpse into his life beyond the Moodys....he is one of the greatest and unfortunately most under-rated musicians/writers/vocalists ever.. regards Joe in NH.
It is so lovely to know that Justin and Marie have been married for 40 years. :) In a business where that rarely happens, it is so refreshing to hear. I had the pleasure of meeting Justin and John in Nashville a few years ago. They are such lovely, polite men. :) I will never forget that. :)
I was wondering on the road for touring, all these women out there on the front row s during a gig, he could have thousends of affairs, only wondering.......................................
There is actually a story that...? Graeme tells. I think it was Graeme where in the 70's when they were touring this woman got up on stage and grabbed them and started kissing them all. They eventually got her off the stage and she ran away and security couldn't find her. Anyway, the guys, after the gig, were getting changed and this woman comes running out of the bathroom. Steels all of their underwear and runs off. Days later they get a package. It is their laundered underwear with request for them to sign it and return it to her. They were all laughing when Graeme told the story (It was on Australian Television, can't remember the clip). But it is sort of sad too. Back then 70's they would have thought it was funny but when you think about it, it is sexual assault. And I am not sure if it f*(Ked them up in anyway. It would have had me rattled. Maybe also why their songs are not constantly about sex sex sex, but higher spiritual stuff. Interestingly, Justine has a song called "Leave the man alone". I think he wrote it before this incident. From what I can interpret it ends with the whole Parasocial relationship a fan develops with him. Remember, when you are fantasizing about having sex with a rock star, you don't know them or what they are like. You are really having sex with yourself.
Nice to see this again nearly twenty years on. I seriously love the "Moodies" for their extraordinary talent and appreciation of their fans! Only reason I came back to this was from thinking about them on "The Thames" with the current situation. I think there place is quite elevated but who knows?

When Justin and John are shown singing, "I Know You're Out There Somewhere", I don't know how much more of this segment was aired originally, on "LifeStyles of the Rich and Famous". It was a syndicated series. Robin Leach narrated. He (Leach) lived in Las Vegas. Leach has passed on, years ago.
And how do you know she's a difficult person to be around? Do you know her personally? He's always spoken fondly of her as his personal muse. And the time they spend apart is the same or less than the time other rockstars spend away from home. Even at his busiest, Justin only toured with MB two months maximum two to three months a year, and this is the early MB. Later, they'd two for the same time but less frequently as they'd take a year or two with little touring. Jon Bon Jovi has spent a lot more time away from him as Bon Jovi always had a pretty heavy touring schedule, and I don't see people talking about him and his wife? Being with a musician guarantees long separations, and that's part of the deal that they all come to accept.
@@kimdawcatgirl They not only have been together for 53 years (57 if you consider that they got in a relationship late 1967), he's also called her the love of his life and the one "he's so close to" that he feels "as if it's them against the world" and that "they love each other more and more as they get older" and that he's "willing to do anything to defend their relationship" The fact that he didn't sit very close to her in some random footage of their house doesn't indicate anything. And he's said before the songs he wrote about past love are merely an inspiration he's taken from past relationships. Marie even helped him on one of these songs, aka Stage Door. I find all of these comments you all are making around here quite insensitive about a couple you know absolutely nothing about.

JH has such a nice soothing voice when he talks and sings. Such a kind gentle husband and father as well as a great musician.

I know this is six years later, but Justin sold that house years ago. He and Marie live in a flat in Monaco.
