Is reverb 'too much digital processing' to you?
T.J. Herriott and the ubiquitous/industry wide use of autotune. But since everyone is doing it, can’t really blame them.
@@bobogus2018 They don't autotune though. Their live performances sound almost exactly like the studio except for the occasional fatigue flatness or slight instrumental mishap every artist has. The most I can hear on their vocals is a very conservative consonant filter and slight reverb which you can't even fairly call 'processing' as some mics and environments create it naturally.

Autotune with modern computing can be done instantly I.e. live performances. And the amount of pitch correction can be subtle to in your face. It’d be naive to assume artists don’t use it.
