I always wanted to trade crypto for a long time but the volatility in the price has been very confusing to me although I have watched many CZcams videos about it but still find it difficult to understand

Personally I would say do get a mentor. Not sure where you will get a good one. But if your knowledge of the market is limited. It seems like a good bet.
I've been making passive income monthly from crypto for over a year but I prefer trading with the help of Mentor or guide because it saves me time and reduces the risk of loosing.

HEY! Tory Trades,i have a question. I am having trouble, when the market hits consolidations…..i know how to enter on trends, but do you have a way of telling when a consolidation is going to start and or end?
An important step in trading consolidation patterns involves assessing how long the pattern has held. You can always tell when consolidation is about to begin provided you’ve got good indicators that guides you

Identifying consolidating involves looking for those that have steady support and resistance levels, trade in a narrow range, and have low trading volumes.
What are the best indicators for market consolidation? Do indicators really provide good entry and exit points?
@FRANCISCAJUANA There are numerous indicators for accessing market consolidation,many of which claim high success rate. But getting to know good entry and exit points requires skills and a higher level of expertise. which is why I allow trading ex pert cooper guide me on the right market entries and exit to take so my trading results are always accurate.
You necessarily don’t need to rely on indicators to start trading. You can easily tell the market is in a consolidation as soon as you spot candlestick patterns like doji, spinning top, and hammer.

No need to over complicate it, just keep it simple and straight to the point like the way you trade. I definitely respect your strategy, it made sense to me the moment you broke it down. I’m a visual learner so I picked up on it very quick as soon as I saw your video 😊 I been developing my own strategy for quite some time now that’s been very promising. But I’ve been interested in trying swing trading for a while now and unfortunately my strategy works better in a 4 hour timeframe so I may adapt your strategy and backtest it to try to hold a longer position with trend lines. It's deceptively simple, but does require practice to spot those trends in different time frames. Please do continue to make more videos on how you use this strategy in conjunction with support and resistance, and if there are any other nuances. Thank you.
You can use it on any timeframe as well. I've been doing this for a couple of years now and Tori is the first person I've seen on CZcams that does what I do. It's incredibly effective, and takes a huge amount of stress out of trading.

One thing that would be more valuable than the gem of a video this is, is going over multiple setups where this strategy didn’t work.

You can't possibly see those 4 touch points UNTIL AFTER the move. Logic, my friend. She was trying to explain how to put together the bearish trendline, which begs the question now. How did she put together the bullish trendline?
I switched to your strategy, trendlines, after over a year of supply and demand. And the difference was night and day, had my biggest winning day ever within just a few days.

@@manchesteryoutube2108 np. I started doing it with 15 min, it's the clearest but sometimes I find I need more information to see pullbacks etc, so now I switch to 10 and 5 also but ive been looking even lower
It helps when trailing to switch to 5 min sometimes
Since I only trade one instrument rn I have the headspace for this more timeframes

I wait for the 10 or 15 candle to close as one of the confirmations, if not I often find it will just wick the trendline and not break

I love this. The longer you trade the more evident it becomes that the most simple strategies are the best and most consistent. Having like 10 indicators and 10 rules that have to be satisfied is such overkill.
I never really appreciated Trend Lines until this Video. Combined with Market structure & S&D. Makes a combo. Oh and one more thing thanks for making this Video 3 minutes long❤

But how do you draw those trend lines in real time? You drew them with 4 touch points..but that was after the fact. If you did it in real time you would have to wait for 2 or 3 touch points but then you're buying in in the middle..right?
She gets in at the break of the previous trend, places a stop in that area and stays in the trade as long as it’s moving in the right direction. You can usually draw the new trend line soon as you get two pivot points

Trading is always simple, a load of information makes it complicated.
even a 6 year old could understand this! there are markets where this type of strategies work horribly bad and some will work wonders, just pick a strategy and find a market where it works. all strategies are good, the problem is that most people are using them on the wrong markets, trendlines might work very good on long lasting ones, not the choppy ones where they are constantly being disrespected. i.e i trade EU with 1 setup and works very nicely, i tried it on UCHF and its horrible...well explained tori, wish you nothing but success

How can that be when 99% of the time the Euro/USD , USD/CHF are perfectly negatively correlated
@@espnn8753 because could at least have similarities. besides, having 99% as you say would be a perfect example on how it could perfectly work on both assets. But the idea im trying to point out is that people expect one trading strategy fits every pair and end up constantly changing both which reduces the chance of success dramatically
@@espnn8753 you can have a highly negative correlated pair that has similar behaviour and the approach still works fine, and no, EU has nothing to do with UCHF, they're around -6% correlation on the daily TF, or else you'd have the same price action. What im trying to say is that some people think that one approach or setup is a holy grail for all assets just because they backtested on one.

Very simple! I just started practicing trendlines yesterday.
Great video! I'm a trendline trader myself. I create my tendlines on the higher time frames then scalp the trends with break and retest on lower time frames

Me, too. Although, I do believe I will transition to 4 hr time frame for many reasons with the first being “ more available time in my day”.
What time frames do you use for the higher and lower time frame? So basically if higher timeframe is on an uptrend you wait for lower timeframe pull back/downtrend then take the trade when that downtrend breaks in the direction of the higher timeframe trend?

Tori don,t let anyone tell you different about your strategy if it worked for your uncle and it works for you then don't listen to any cridicts because you will get plenty, but for me I have combined your strategy with mine and it has changed my trading for the better big time soooo it is a BIG thank you from me.
I really like the concept of your strategies as I often feel pressured by my prop firm into trading short time frames. Unfortunately, they require one to close all trades by the end of the day and no weekends. Perhaps if I pass one day I'll be able to bank my own money and trade my own money. Happy trading.
