I am from 🇬🇭 Ghana. Lately, l having been listening to Cape Verdean's music. The songs are rich with acoustic sound from the instruments especially the guitar and also mix with accordion sound. Nice! God bless Cape Verdeans for producing great music on the continent.
@@josephasante8429 this style of playing came out of necessity due to the colonizers not allowing us to use African drums 🪘 that’s how we got the batucaderas de Santiago Cape Verde 🇨🇻 using their laps to beat on in order to create rhythms and beats per say. But we resisted and now we are evolving and embracing our roots even stronger.
