Wedding are suppose to be a ritual bonding between two souls. Yet, on the day of the wedding we're so distracted in the worldly affairs, that when it comes to going to the Gurdwara for Phere/Laanvan, we just take it very lightly. We either do not go to the Gurdwara at all, or even if we go, we want the phere/Laanva proceeding to end soon, so we can go back to the wedding hall and enjoy ourselves.
