My daughter was going through a terrible time dealing with anxiety and depression, i created a prayer Bible for her focusing on these but since then she has added tabs for prayers over her children, over her relationships and family issues

I appreciate the way you did your Bibles….the way “you” need them. God leads each of us according to His purposes. I’ve never seen the washi with a tail at the bottom. I like that! Thanks for sharing

You're welcome. I have been loving the flow kf using my prayer Bible this way! It works for me. Coveting is so real and I'm glad folks aren't afraid to talk about it.
This is so much better for me. I have undiagnosed ADHD and it was getting overwhelmed. I really love this way of doing this, because it is building up with my prayer life. I love ❤this and will share with the groups I am at.
Also, I love how your dogs came at the end, it was like they were saying, Momma, I want to say bye guys.

Great video and thanks for sharing! I love your theme of coveting because I honestly have to work on that too. I also like how you used the washi to mark the books. I’m thinking of getting another Bible to use for the new year and adding tabs in it as I learn things from sermons or from Faith videos I watch. That way I’m able to study each in more detail. I’m still working on my current prayer Bible and can’t wait to finish it.

I have a separate prayer Bible for each of the following: one for me, one for my grandbabies, one for the women in the family, one for the men in the family, and I’m making one for a friend who is going through some life challenges and dealing with grief. Who knows how many I’ll end up with lol. But I like to be able to separate them like this. Otherwise if I had it all in one Bible, it would be too jumbled and confusing, and would probably not even close lol

I'm in the process of just figuring out topics to put in my prayer bible, but I really LOVE the idea to just take a moment to focus on one topic to pray about for whatever time that the Holy Spirit leads me to until I feel the need to add to or move to another topic. I don't want to leave any topic out that I may need but I like the slower idea.
This was the best route for me. I thought about it and I would become overwhelmed with a Bible full of tabs that I wasn't familiar with. With the way I am doing it I plan to work on memorizing scripture and familiarizing myself with my Bible and tabs. It will take longer for me to have a beautiful prayer Bible but it will be worth it!
@@PrintPraySlay yes!!!! I think the added familiarity of memorizing the verses in the slower process with be super beneficial.

I love the idea of focusing on one topic at a time. I just know I’m going to end up with many tabs. Probably will double multiple Bibles. Coveting was a primary reason I left Fb and IG . I love this topic and will add it to my topic list.

When I tell you it hit me one night as a struggle I was stunned. I had to really have a heart check to make sure but I am glad that I did because it's necessary to make sure our intentions are pure.

I have always only tabbed the top of a book, same reason that you have shared they’re so much easier to handle finding that way for me. I like the sticky note additions, that’s a good idea too.
Doing the tabs only for what is needed now is a great way to progress in a way that is friendly for you and your way of being. That is awesome to see others doing too.

With King James if you learn what the ending of the words mean it becomes easier to understand the KJV Bible. I had difficulty until my pastor explained it to me. Example eth means it is on going and does not end. where other translations do not explain when something is just during that time period or if it is something we should be or is always going on. That said I use all versions to study from because you get more of a view of what God is talking about. I also use Biblical dictionaries that give on the ways something can be translated from the Hebrew and from the Greek.

You could also not use tabs in the middle of the side of the Bible and that gives you a better grip to flip through the pages. Great video!

Thanks Louise! I don't take any of my Bibles to church actually. We use the Bible app to read the scriptures and they are displayed on the screens in the sanctuary. I also take notes on my phone.
Are you kind of like OCD when things are crooked or are you like a profectionist
Not really but I have been know to pull up a few stickers if they are crooked and I like items in their happy place.
