Incredible live acoustic version of this great song. You can always tell when people really have talent when they sound great live with just acoustic guitar, and the boys from Biloxi are the real deal.

This song speaks to me. Sometimes you have family members who despite their best intentions, continually hold you back from being the person you are capable of. They don’t give you the opportunity to be yourself so you can never live your own life. To me, this song is a great euphemism for that even if that is not what the artist intended

I've tried writing songs in the style of 3 Doors down. But the things Arnold feels when when he writes it (eg the pain in here without you) realy makes it a great song. And I havn't experienced that kind of pain till recently. My girlfriend broke up with me and it hurts like hell. Instead of drowning in my sorrows I wrote several songs. And looking back on them still hurts but it's some of the best I've ever wrote. 3DD aint just music, It's pure emotion
His voice is just so raw and real. Probably one of the few songs I've heard where I prefer the acoustic over the album.
