Antiparos is the little sister of neighboring #Paros. But it has such intense energy that it keeps its own special character! Alternative and of high quality, discreetly secular, quite hipster and infinitely beautiful!
It has an area of 35 square kilometers and a population of 1200 permanent residents. In ancient times it was called Oliaros.
The ferry from Piraeus takes about four hours to Paros and then in less than 30 minutes you reach via #Pounta the blue and white Cycladic Eden.
Start wandering in the beautiful streets of Chora. In this way you will be able to relax and integrate into the peaceful pace of the inhabitants' life. Beautiful corners, elegant shops and boutiques, restaurants that smell of grilled fish and delicious food, cafes and bars that promise to cheer you up. Explore the #Kastro (castle) neighborhood and get lost in its legends and history. Venetian nobles, pirates and Turkish conquerors set the scene for an incredible novel, which was once the reality of this place.

Spend sometime to admire the Cycladic architecture in the white churches, while in the neighborhood Sifneikos gialos you will enjoy unique sunsets!
And now it's time to get to know the #exotic beaches of Antiparos.
We start from the stunningly beautiful Theologos beach or #camping. It has clear turquoise waters and gathers a lot of youth as is natural. It is said that Antiparos became so famous because of the specific beach and the naturist camping that people from the Scandinavian countries, Germany and Italy fanatically choose. Here nudism is a common practice, while the experience of walking in a sea pool and reaching the pristine uninhabited island accross is a life experience!
On the southeast coast we find the beaches of Mikros and Megalos #Soros. Wide sandy beach, fine pebbles and deep waters. It is the largest beach of Antiparos and is loved by both children and adults.
At the southern end of the island, the twin beaches of Garbis and Faneromeni are waiting for you to enjoy them.
Near the town of Antiparos, in a southerly direction you will find the beaches #Psaraliki and #Fanari.
Next is #Panagia beach
#Livadia, is a remote sandy beach without trees’ shade, ideal for nature lovers and water sports.
In the center of the island, is the #cave of Antiparos, one of the most beautiful and mysterious caves in the world. It was used as a place of worship of the goddess Artemis. At the entrance stands the enchanting and minimal white church of Agios Ioannis Spiliotis.
Inscriptions and engravings on the stalactites testify a variety of visitors, such as the generals of Alexander the Great, King Otto of Greece and the Nazi treasure hunters, among others.
Important archaeological findings have been discovered on the islet of #Despotiko, which shows the widespread worship of Apollo in the Cyclades, god of light, music and protector of divination. In the exotic beach of Despotiko, daily excursions are being made during summer, with tourist boats, which also offer the tour of the island.

Χωρις αυτοκινητο θα γνωρίσετε την χωρα, την παραλια του καμπινγκ στα βορεια και μια ακόμα. Με ποδηλατο μπορείτε να δειτε περισσότερα μερη και ασφαλως με σκαφος ολες τις παραλιες και τα γυρω νησάκια
