Mainstream rappers are people like lil baby, future, da baby etc, you hear them on the radio and in commercials. I'm a huge fan but he's not mainstream yet. Baby Tate got 8mil monthly listeners and she's still not mainstream she got some tik tok hits but she is not mainstream.

Going mainstream means signing to a major label and changing your whole image for the contract, becoming something different for the industry aka sellin your soul.
