I was also there (first violin). Our percussionists were really good. The percussionists definitely had A LOT of stuff in the Danzon. During rehearsal, our conductor kept yelling at us for being too loud at 9:45 lmao. We spent so long working on that part. Counting wrong and finishing early is really bad in any type of music, but especially this piece. Of course everyone would be worried.
