If I don't have the stand can I use a balloon with water as the weight instead? and the curling ribbon to tight them all?
I have not tried this without a stand yet, I will have to try. I'm sorry I'm not sure if it will work. I think it would work if using bigger balloons and creating layers with 5 balloons instead of 4.

Yes :) Not sure when at the moment, I have a long list of to do tutorials.
Can this be done with out the stand? Also you said these can be made the day before. What do they look like the next day? Do they look much different? I want this to go out side. Do I think it will be ok out there?
+Lisa Baray Yes :) I will be doing a video for it. They will still look good the next day, but look the best the day of. Outside the balloon color will fade. I may do a test to see how long.

I recently uploaded a video for a balloon arch without a stand. Only good for indoor parties. For outdoor events you need a good stand with heavy weights.

How would you suggest making this design for an outdoor event? I have an order coming up
An outdoor balloon column stand would be the best to use. The floor lamp might work with a weight (like the ones for working out). If I get a chance next week I test the floor lamp outside with the weight and see if it will work.

It will be ok :) I don't notice any difference when I am using my two different sized stands.

I mean the uninflated ones. I'm trying to figure out storage for them when I buy them instead of having them all over my living room. LOL
Hazeleyesjax2006 LOL I know what you mean, I have mine stored and they are still all over my living room :) Plastic storage bins are great for storing. Keep from sunlight.
