This two most important instruments in the leitmotifs combine in the most heartbreaking song on the soundtrack.
Me personally, I would find it very hard to play piano while being hugged, so that must mean Roland is insane at this shit.
Also add that he Is completely broken because it's His dead wife who's hugging him

They are well together but the violin is louder then the piano so it sounds more like they were recorded separately then edited together rather then actually played together as a duet
