Monster Bass! Bussey Brake - Bastrop, LA 02/25/2023

9lb 1 oz bass and a 7lb bass caught today. Was a very slow bite. Water temp was 60-63 degrees today with the majority of bass caught on secondary points off the bank in 3-5ft of water.

I live down the road from that brake. Funny how it didn’t have no one going to it and now everyone wants to fish it because it’s easy to catch fish. I just hope people not screw it up by not catch and release.
