Yes, and No. If a mage is AoE farming, and there's nobody around, and the area is uncontested, by all means, or if the mage that is AoE farming was there first, then yes it is disrespectful to try and gank them. However, it goes both ways. If someone is holding down a farming spot, and some mage thinks they're going to AoE farm on top of someone elses farm, then the mage is the one being disrespectful. It's common fucking etiquette, and when a mage tries to AoE farm or tag-steal from me, well they get a good dose of 0g/hr.
My etiquette on a pvp server is to attack on sight
