Kung noon pa man tinanggap na nila ang hatol ng korte na sa Taguig ang pag-aari ng BGC, malamang di nadamay ang mga nasabing 10 barangay. Dahil sa issue kasi natural kanya kanyang ebidensya ang ilalabas na magpapatunay ng pagmamay-ari at sa kasamaang palad dahil sa mga dokumento at ebidensya gaya ng mga mapa at mga kasulatan, di lang pala BGC ang sakop ng Taguig, pati din pala ang 10 barangay. Parang isinugal ang mga nasabing barangay para lang sa BGC.

Nag aral at nakapagtapos po ako ng Juniir High School sa Makati City kahit na taga Surigao po kami. Thanks to God and thanks to the LGU of Makati City. Nakakatuwa po talaga, ang laki ng ambag ng Makati sa bansa kasi never na silang tumatanggap ng budget from DEPED, at na reresrrve yung budget na yun para sa ibang mga LGU. Kayang kaya talaga ng makati yan kasi dahil na rin sa mga businesses na nakapalibot sa makati at plus good leadership rin ng lgu. Praying na magkaroon nga ng maayos na transition. God bless to both LGU, Makati and Taguig. God bless us❤

I'm a Makatizen and I can attest to how well our city is run by our good Mayor Abby Binay❤ Just try to visit Makati City Hall for any documentation needed and you'll see how smooth the transactions go and not to mention that the employees are so helpful and friendly. There are so many benefits that a resident of Makati gets. Free education (including all school supplies and allowance) free medical checkups, laboratory, medicines,burial expenses, and many more for the qualified residents. The senior citizens gets premium benefits such as free hospitalization,check ups,immunizations, medicines, mobility aids, they even get a cake on their birthday and unlimited movie tickets.
In my own functional illiterate opinion: It's really unwise for the DILG, DepEd, Supreme Court to transfer jurisdiction of 14 Baranggays of Makati to Taguig Province when Makati ,Metro Manila is doing well in providing Services excellent Services to the People of these said 14 Baranggays. This is equivalent to ruining the lives of the people of these 14 Baranggays, subjecting the lives of the people to pain and suffering for the disruption of their benefits from Makati. Very Cruel undertaking...
Deped and DILG have nothing to do with the jurisdiction of territory decision. That if of Supreme Court.
Deped letter which was released by the regional director only, only covers the teachers.
DILG will only intervene if there is a clear rules on the implementation.

This is a very technical and legal matter. The Supreme Court, being the final arbiter and interpreter of the law of the land is the best if not the option to resolve the matter. Sa adherence lang nagkakaproblema kung susunod ka ba sa decision nila o hindi.

Totoo naman kasi yan, kaming residents na hindi umaasa sa government ang malakas magbayad ng tax. Sa condo tax palang nga bayad ko sa Makati City Hall para sa isang condo ay 30k a year na. Dami pa namang condo dito. Maliban pa sa mga businesses na karamihan hindi naman located sa baranggay na yan.
In short, kung yang mga baranggay lang mismo, malaki deficit nila. .... Meaning Libre sa iba, esp sa mga tao sa brgys na yan, kasi napakababa ng tax collections sa kanila compared sa ginagastos sa kanila.
Ang gastos na sinabi ni Mayor Binay ay, hindi lang CAPITAL sa pagpapatayo ng paaralan at hospitals. Ang value na sinabi nya ay more on Operarional Cost lang. So basically, kung owenrship, based on Capital cost, Makati City talaga yan ang may ari, kasi hindi naman kaya ng tax collected sa brgy na iyan magpatayo ng hospitals at schools

The Supreme Court made a decision without regard to the residents of the affected barangays, whether it will uplift their lives, or will lead to losing the benefits they presently enjoy. Dapat kung maayos na ang pamumuhay ng mga residents sa Makati ay huwag ng guluhin at maging cause instead ng misery sa kanilang buhay. Like now, Taguig mayor said na they don't have that much resources as Makati meaning hindi nila maibibigay the same quality of benefits that they are now receiving. So, instead mag progress, nag regress. Bakit nila pinilit kunin itong mga barangays to be under them? Mayor Abby has provided the best services to its constituents ever since she was elected and now what will happen....

I agree with Mayor Binay, Makati College has been providing free education, and scholars and countless graduates free, and also the big one is the Makati Science High School, imagine 11 schools and then will just be taken by Taguig City. I guess it is a bad ruling by the SC because Makati City has provided financial benefits, and for all the facilities owned by the city of Makati, millions of pesos have been spent by Makati City. Tama naman si Mayor Abby Binay. Sa totoo lang the schools will just be a part of Taguig but is doesn't mean that they will own the all properties within that part. If you go to some parts of Taguig, napakabulok nga ng ibang schools nila tapos sasabihin nila handa na sila.

Mayor binay may be right in saying that the transfer of schools and all its residuals should have complete documentation. Documentation can initially be simpler with a writ of execution . All the basics involved. Then other details can follow.

I am from QC, but i become interested with the topic which is the Makati Vs.Taguig issue, when Mayor Abby Binay explained well what they need to compromise with the agreement and the Memorandum of Agreement for the documentation. There's a lot of things and expenses to be considered for the continuity of various services for the absorption of responsibility of the Municipality of Taguig.
All for the Binays to do is buy a residential property in Taguig, then have one Binay run in the next coming elections, this will effectively manage both cities under one authority. A checkmate vs Cayetanos.
