One trick for the crafting system at camp is to give those skills and related feats to your 'Bench Warmers' and utilize them when you're sleeping back at base. You need to return to base anyway to cleanse corruption, and the crafting roles are actually still open when you rest at base. Situational items like Scrolls of Lesser Restoration or Cure Blindness are good candidates for scribing, leaving your active spell slots free for choices that are universally beneficial.

Best thing about this game is being able to completely re-roll your character after the beginning quest, and not having to start the game over. I probably re-rolled a dozen times before finally figuring out what worked for me. Just realize once you hit level 3 mythic you cant change that specific selection

Do be careful, tried to Errol later in game and it won’t work , literally won’t let me retrain level 2 onward on my level 18 main, forcing me to get creative with my latest build video 😭

@@jay4627 yup. That’s why it’s talking me longer To make some of my guides as I’ve had to level my actual characters and go through the story. Not always, but my gold dragon build (making it as we speak) is a major pain as my build is slightly different than my actual character (and I can’t respec) so having to using video editing magic lol

@@LeeroyGaming I had the same issue, it's a bug not alot of people are talking about. Simply remove all of your gear and you can circumvent it. You can even keep your belt or headpiece on for getting the feats you need. Once you're done retraining put all your gear back on.

@@kuma8093 I’ll try it out and see if it works. If it does I’ll make a video about it. Wish I had known after spending an extra 4 or so hours on my golden dragon build (going live tomorrow at 9am pacific! Spreadsheets included :)

I spent so much time in the character creator. I rolled five different things and got them to Kenabres before I finally settles on one.

20:45 The rule for Pathfinder 1E about this, is that **attacks and saves** will always succeed on Nat 20 and fail on Nat 1. If it's an attack, the Nat 20 will always threaten a crit unless the creature is immune (such as an elemental.)
Skills will not always succeed on natural rolls - meaning that your bonus can be high enough to automatically succeed (eg, Camellia can automatically pick some of the locks in the Shield Maze), or the DC can be high enough to make the check impossible.

    @CrossfadeD7 Před 3 lety +5

29:50 Wrong. You want Perception skill high on pretty much everyone since to find hidden loot/pathways/traps you want everyone to roll for a chance to find it. Moreover you want it especially on your main character since there will be instances where its only the MC and there will be hidden loot around. Granted.. you can redo perception checks for hidden stuff if you leave the surroundings for a 1-2 min (you dont need to exist the area if its a bigger map).

On Mobility, that bit about moving pat opponents without taking an attack of opportunity has to be toggled in the game. It's found in the Abilities submenu, along with important skills like Coup de grace(attempts to execute an incapacitated target) and Charge(dash forward and make a single melee attack, great for sneak attack rounds where you only get a move action). You move at half speed but get to make a Mobility check to avoid an Attack of Opportunity.

Great Guide! I wish I had this when I started the Game :P
Comment and Thumb up given up to rank it higher in the Search!
I wonder if the Skill points do influence Gameplay too. I noticed that the Characters I gave Mobility to are faster than the ones without... could be a coincidence...
They (OwlCat) really should have made a *BIG* Guide BEFORE the Release. I am still pissed off by the Game being so convoluted.
Two Days ago I made a respec for my Custom Party because they got crushed by big Monsters. Now I run a DEX based Party but I get Ambushed by some little Succubus Party and die in no time because they spawn pretty much directly in my Party and I need to pre-buff... no chance... frustrated... gonna reroll or lower difficulty :(
    Frustration Quit ^^

    A large note about Alignment.
Currently the game doesn't really have good options throughout the whole game. So lets say you want to Keep a Chaotic Evil character, it is quite hard, since you do not have multiple options during all dialogue for it.
Same as sometimes if you do an Evil action, instead of going towards the Chaotic Evil, it moves towards Chaotic Neutral (Which infuriates me).
Everything has different weights, and some of those push you towards a "Evil" that doesn't exist, like Chaotic Neutral.
Same with Lawful Good, where I do a Lawful action, it ends up pushing me towards Evil, for whatever reason.

On the topic of skills, here they are in order of importance
Specialist skill that is unique to party -> Persuasion (only if you intend to use Feats to overbuff your Demoralization) -> Perception (Always useful to get more chances to spot traps) -> mobility (let's you escape very specific CC spells and gives buff to Fighting defensively mode)

On classes, alchemists are pretty good too, a very powerful class beginner friendly, specially vivicecionist, granadier and the base class

I was thinking of a Tiefling Slayer who takes the demon mythic path because he has been shunned by society due to the demon war a few too many times, and was wondering if there are any good multi/prestige class ideas that would be cool maybe DD for free stat boosts?
