Hats off to such folks 🙏🏽. I recently had a cup of tea in a small temple town in Karnataka. The practice is to charge Rs.10/- per cup irrespective of the quality of the tea(which normally ranges from bad to pathetic...but one just needs a hot sweet drink in India). The tea was exceptionally good and the quantity satisfactory...and I paid Rs.10/- not expecting any change. As I took a few steps away from others to light my cigarette, the boy from the shop came to me and handed over change of Rs.3/-. I HAD to go back, left the change on the counter and thanked the owner for selling good tea at a fair price....and asked to use the change to offer a cup to a needy. He just smiled and nodded. Be fair ... And you will be blessed. Flease and you shall pay 🙏🏽
