I agree. It's such a small little segment and a line that goes over people's heads. In that moment Karl realises what he's done is a drop in the ocean and doesn't help the bigger picture. I saw the hippo people with Jessica and they rescued her when she was a baby nearly dead at the end of their driveway when a flood happened. She goes back to the river with her kind and still comes home. She has the best of being wild and yet still coming home to her human parents.

By trial and error they found that a mixture of camel dung and Worcestershire sauce was the right colour and it didn't flake off the tank hulls. The thing that makes this show so good is Karl is actually smart as hell, he's very handy and good on the tools so he can do stuff like this, he cares about people generally, he is always open to partake in local culture, its just stuff like bungee jumping that you could do anywhere that he decides to fight Stephen and Ricky on. No, Karl isn't "smart". He's very simple and is handy, but he isn't "smart". If you've listened to the XFM broadcasts and podcasts, you'd see he's unbelievably dumb a lot of the time. But he's mostly a good guy and is just... basic. But he IS very creative when it comes to funny analogies and wording things with a certain humour.

They even kill babies that aren't theirs so they can breed with the mother. Nature is brutal. They are amazing creatures don't get me wrong, but they aren't what you call gentle at all, but they are definitely less erratic and dangerous than Chimpanzees. Chimps can just go off and start violently attacking for no good reason, whereas Gorilla's usually do have a reason.

Yes, 50 pence is like 50 cents here, guys. It's not the same value because of currency exchange, but it's the same concept. But hearing Karl tell off Steve really got me.
