Amazing Atmospheric Soundtrack Ambience... Truly and Purely Iconic... 🎶☯️🎶 The reason why Silent Hill 2 it became a classic is because eventually people began to see how unique, eerie, melancholic and authentic the game's atmosphere it really is, and took the time to enjoy its deeply thoughtful narrative and symbolism. To this day it’s by far one of, if not the most mature examination of grief, sexual trauma, suicide, and morality all combined. It’s an intelligent game that does not hold anyone’s hand and comes at the player with utmost confidence in itself. It’s fantastic stuff. The rest of the original 4 are great in their own right and have their own well written stories, but they don’t hold the same emotional weight to them. I think SH2’s maturity by comparison is something that a lot of people are drawn to. ☯️
I feel that, though I love Heather, James should have been in that game. It would have been more in tone with James' story to end up in The Fog, altough I'm not sure which powers he would have had.
Think of this: You just woke up and it’s well under 30 degrees Fahrenheit, so you grab your jacket and walk to the kitchen to get a warm cup of coco. You then look outside holding your hot coco, looking out at an empty road. You feel this flood of peacefulness fill your body. Knowing there is no rush or hurry to do anything makes you feel relaxed.. you see daylight start to break through, and you decide to go to your living room and start up a fire in your fireplace. You finally lay down on your couch and you feel yourself slowly drifting back to sleep... It’s something I think about every now and then... it ain’t much, but it’s honest work. ❤️

@@leche6711 Well, although I don't believe in God, I believe that everyone who dies will go to a kind of eternal paradise, the reason I believe in this is because of NDE's reports. May I not remember who is my ancestors, but I definitely know that they existed, so they not will fade from existence as long as someone knew they existed. In fact, life is really a challenge, but only you decide if you want to complete this challenge or just live without meaning, because this is the meaning of life. Equally, the existence of black holes and other stars have a reason to be there. For these questions about existentialism, I can only say that we do not live in a real reality, we are doomed to seek those surreal answers forever, so that we live with a goal so as not to lose the sense of living, just like Stephen Hawking once said. Oh, if you don't know, there is a theory that states that we have a 50% chance that we are experiencing a simulation like Matrix.
@@leche6711 Anyway, I advise you to live intensely every day, do what you like, watch your favorite movies, play the games you love the most, read a book you want so much. Because create goals in your life will be what keeps you sane, existential madness will only make you have a stroke, and possibly even have suicidal thoughts...
It think this is the sound of loneliness and nothingness. You feel sad, like everything it's conspiring again you... But even in those dark times, you can always find shelter in the lonely silence of the night. It's sad, yes. But you know things will get better...
This melody gives me unexplainable emotions and thoughts. Sometimes you can compare your own world deep inside you with the world of James. It’s insane to be honest. I work at the book and main character was a soldier. So, he had to kill all family and he has soul suffering cuz of it. Silent hill’s OSTS like this one really help me.
Decided to put this on the background while paying my rent A nice mix of childhood nostalgia taking me to a calmer time, yet reminding me of the psychological horrors of adult financial management
Well Silent Hill is a horror game, so maybe she’s more focused on where the song came from rather than the song itself. Another reason why I think she got scared was because ambience freaks people out a bit due to its “silence.”
You're on some sort of resort island with pretty palm trees, soft white sand caressing your feet and a stretch of turquoise water as far as the eye can see. However, you are alone. No boat in sight. No wooden houses, no deckchairs. You are simply alone. The sun is beating down on your head but you are anxious. You see no animals, no seagulls, as if life has simply disappeared. You only hear the sound of the waves. You wonder if you are in some kind of dream. You have been abandoned on an island lost in the middle of an infinite ocean. You don't know whether you might die of hunger or thirst, but surely of loneliness. Besides, are you really alone? You feel watched and pursued all of a sudden...

The scene: you're 13 years old. It's 2am, raining on a cold winter night, as you are covered in a soft, warm blanket. You contemplate what you will do next in life, wondering what more there is to live through.
Sleeping to this again✨😴
It think this is the sound of loneliness and nothingness. You feel sad, like everything it's conspiring again you... But even in those dark times, you can always find shelter in the lonely silence of the night. It's sad, yes. But you know things will get better...
True
change da world, my final message
goodbye
"Change da world, my final message, goodbye." - Rat with cigarette
How did I not notice that ASAP Rocky sampled one of my favorite game osts.
its sooo easy to fall in looovee
This melody gives me unexplainable emotions and thoughts. Sometimes you can compare your own world deep inside you with the world of James. It’s insane to be honest. I work at the book and main character was a soldier. So, he had to kill all family and he has soul suffering cuz of it. Silent hill’s OSTS like this one really help me.
This is what liminal spaces sound like in a nutshell. Amazing.
Decided to put this on the background while paying my rent
A nice mix of childhood nostalgia taking me to a calmer time, yet reminding me of the psychological horrors of adult financial management
I feel calm for some reason.......but I enjoy it, I showed this to my friend and she got scared of it and I’m not sure why she got so scared
Well Silent Hill is a horror game, so maybe she’s more focused on where the song came from rather than the song itself. Another reason why I think she got scared was because ambience freaks people out a bit due to its “silence.”
It's the type of chords they harmonize in a way that put us on edge
Perfect Idea for bloontoons i think.
I am alone in a house in the middle of the woods. It is raining, a fog rolls in, an owl hoots reverberating across the trees. The world is quiet here.
U ever thought what feeling normal was like again. I don't remember but somehow I can still remember the feeling of it for some reason
This song is full of nostalgia in my head
props to this song for curing my headache
Let’s go! Silent Hill 2 Remastered!

This makes me want to run as a wolf in a world shrouded in twilight....

When your 10 years old and wake up in your bedroom, but your mom moved the fornitures from place
How can a horror game have such soothing tracks in its OST?!
you should check out the cannibal holocaust theme then. sounds like something from a 70s children's animated movie
I don't know how but this cancels out the excess noices in my head
sounds like twilight princess twilight music but the og to it
This song is such a horro classic and all ways well be and continues to be the best soothing and chilling horror game song for a game of all time
Shi always hits
This track is the king of ambience!! Load this puppy up when you're alone on a rainy weekend and let the music flow
Silent Hill 2 lärde mig mycket om människors psykologi och hur man går vidare i livet, jag tackar detta spel för det.
This honestly reminds me of the group Boards of Canada. I feel like this is something they would do.
BoC fan here! This music came up on my CZcams recommended, presumably because of BoC, and it actually made me play the game :) Day of Night is hauntingly beautiful as well
Me as well. Also, Aphex Twins
Love. It!.
This melody reminds me rhe twilight realm in twilight princess
0:26 the 5 seconds when youwere convinced your dog is next to your seat with you and you see him across from you.
There was a hole here
Its gone now
Intankavel essas musicas de silent hill
The scene: you're 13 years old. It's 2am, raining on a cold winter night, as you are covered in a soft, warm blanket. You contemplate what you will do next in life, wondering what more there is to live through.
Solo busco paz...........
Nunca me había identificado tanto con alguien.
caya puta es solo una musica
