Folklift is very easy and a great career. One thing I love about "Forkift" is that you are not over working. In the production warehouse your over working. But, folklift you are not 😊 I have 1 more week of training and I will be certified I am very excited.
Thank you for your informative video on the little nuances I wouldn't have known about such as being careful with the side of the black mass tearing the truck. Good to know. Imma start my new job in a couple days.
Thanks Joe for the video. I’m starting a new job on the 15th being a forklift operator and I’m excited about it. I’m leaving the office/sales job to work in a local warehouse. You mentioned staggering the pallets certain ways so you could get more to fit. I was curious if you could get more to fit arranging them the 40inch way why didn’t you do that for all of them? I was just curious and thank you for the content.
@@forkliftjoe3620 dang that sucks… i remember them days before we got our dock locks…. it’s sketchy stuff when the semi isn’t connected to the trailer always had that fear of the trailer jacks Breakin or the trailer going in the air if they didn’t move the tandems back

I agree with the over worked production part in a warehouse Forklift is the way too go. And Stand ups are quite fun😀
Holy crap, someone who uses the sideshift lever, I always use mine but no one else at the warehouse does

Because this wasn’t a full truck so I really had about a half truck of space left
@@forkliftjoe3620 Thanks man your video showing how to drive a fork lift got me excited for the job, please keep putting out videos.
Loading one sideways and one longways we call it pin wheel loading
And it depends how much you loading till
You got dock locks cause the trailer shouldn’t move if it locked by the dock lock
No dock locks Corey

Depending on the pallet
SO DO YOU PUT THE FORKS IN THEN TILT UP ONLY OR YOU LIFT THE FORKS AND THEN CRADEL/TILT IN??
I usually insert forks then tilt back but depending on what you lift the slightest tilt you could drop something!
@@forkliftjoe3620 Thank you man
First of all MAKE sure the trailer has its wheels chalked .THEN always wear your seat belt ..THIS is just the start of what is wrong here
