  • As a general-class amateur radio enthusiast, I figured I'd watch this show and see its take on teaching kids about amateur radio and CB radio. It brings up some great points while also having fun.
"Toon In With Me" is an hour-long children's program featuring classic cartoons and live-action segments starring Bill Leff as "Bill, MeTV's 'Cartoon Curator'" and his friend Toony The Tuna. Each episode's skits and cartoons are themed to a particular topic. The series premiered in 2021 and became one of MeTV's only cartoon-oriented programs until sister network "MeTV Toons" was launched on June 25th, 2024.
Memorable Entertainment Television, commonly called "MeTV," is a 24-hour broadcast (over-the-air) channel airing classic television shows from the 1960s through the 1980s. The channel's programming is separated into themed blocks, with shows of a specific theme airing together. These blocks include weekday & Saturday morning cartoons, westerns like "Bonanza" and "Gunsmoke," situational dramas like "Adam-12" and "M*A*S*H," and laid-back family shows like "The Andy Griffith Show," "The Beverly Hillbillies," and "Green Acres." MeTV is also the national broadcast home for sci-fi/horror movie show "Svengoolie" from Weigel-owned WCIU-TV in Chicago. Besides television, MeTV has branched out to other ventures, including internet radio station "MeTV FM" and the "MeTV Mall," an online store selling MeTV merchandise, classic-themed electronics, and television memorabilia.
Broadcast was captured on digital over-the-air channel 32.2 from station WMOR licensed to Lakeland, FL. Recorded using a TiVo Romaio DVR and transferred for editing using the open-source TiVoToGo alternative kmttg.
MeTV is owned and operated by Weigel Broadcasting. All content within this video is protected under copyright and is shown here strictly for archival purposes. No deliberate infringement is intended.

It sucked . They put CB in with ham radio used poor examples of the hobby and didn't even show real ham radio gear...I contact Weigel and offered better ideas like their own engineers who are likely hams could offer gear to use for demo
    Never heard from them
