These faces are so pretty. Here in Ireland they are listed as being €17.99 (from a large toy store chain), but are not available to buy yet. Like you, I wonder if these were planned before the reboot as they feel like a random line of dolls to just release like this whilst the reboot is happening. I'd be interested to know if you can actually do everything they claim you can do with the wraparound that they come with.
Sunny's bangs are head and shoulders above Kim Nguyen's. I think Violet is really pretty and I may get her for a body swap. 💜
O definitely! My Kim’s bangs were so messed up, I feel from the neck up these dolls are better quality than what we got before

I wasn’t sure about them at first, figuring I would just get one eventually, but when my husband found them early I really felt like I wanted to review them and I’m not disappointed by them at all, the quality of the head is so good, I will also be rebodying them if I can find 2nd hand bodies for them 😊
for theses dolls it makes sense that there bags are plastic because there meant to be like water play dolls and fabric bags would proberly end up ruined with kids putting them in water or just getting them wet. they thought out these dolls in the water aspect quite well like with the less artucaltion you dont have too worry so much about water getting in the dolls body and going moldy.
This is what I don’t get, they were made for children. This is why they are so many plastic components.
I think we need to keep in mind the target audience.

May I ask what kind of stands you are using? I've seen some that look like those listed online but was worried about if they would be sturdy enough.

These stands are from Amazon, you can find them from different factories but they are pretty much all the same. They are not perfect but do the trick and they are relatively cheap. They do warp a little under the weight of the dolls, but so far all of mine have survived

I was surprised by the hair as well, cuz the other budget dolls had slightly lesser quality (only one color/shorter, etc.) I’m glad the quality of the heads is the same or better than the og

If a water play doll so the gel with wash out natural I’m sure
Having washed them I can say nope, it won’t come out with just water, it’s the same stuff that is in the hair of later releases and water alone doesn’t dissolve it sadly
