I respect you for being loyal to those that trust you with certain information, knowing that you’ll keep it quiet until they’re ready to reveal it. Others may not like it, because they like having stuff they think no one else does, so they can tell their friends, or whomever and look all “in-the-know.
Keep doing what you’re doing, building your channel and protect those people that feel they can trust you. Trust is a hard thing to gain from some people and so easy to lose.
So, keep up the good work! 👍🏻

Wouldn't that be nice... a reasonably tuned 96 (heck, I was happy with a mildly tweaked 80 for years and a gazillion miles). No matter, the MoCo needs to build something that average folks will buy so that I can buy it used in 8-10 years; assuming my 96 is worn out by then and I'm still riding in my 80s...🙃

      @BadBlue32 Před 8 měsíci +3

The Road King is the Cadillac of Harley Davidson. You can’t change that bike that much and still maintain loyalty. The only change they should be making is bringing back the Road King Standard with a 114 imo. If any bike deserves a 114, it’s the Road King.

My prediction would be a CVO heritage, based on how the fatboy had a redesign and it became an evolution of the model. A CVO heritage would appeal to many that are in between the softails and touring....possible gps and infotainment onto a softail would be epic for most looking for a lighter bike, great touring capability and extra features currently that are not available. This would also bring the nostalgia game back up in popularity.

"whip cream on horse shit" is epitomized with the "bagger race series." Folks like it and keep throwing 10's of thousands at their softails and baggers to make them go faster. while the Motor Company has two platforms that have the aptitude to go fast, stop fast and turn left and right. The economy of performance isn't a practical/logical choice, but an emotional one, period. Thank you for sharing, Ride Free

Thanks for the vid Blair. BTW, I removed my derby cover and cam cover showing the size of my engine on my 23 RGST stage 2 dyno’d putting out 120 hp and 120 ft lbs of torque. It does seem like there’s a trend of “mine is bigger than yours” out there with the numbers on each side of the bike. I decided I didn’t need to advertise my size(not that there’s anything wrong with that). My personalized license plate on the bike is “SLEPER”.

@maxxbenzz7842 windy city Harley dealer network. The one I got was the Milwaukee dealer, and they had 2 other STs at that specific dealer.
The network has a bunch of dealers though

$8000 off of MSRP? Brand new ST for $22,000? I feel like that's a bit of a stretch.....

    A CVO Softail standard 🙂
They could ditch the softail standard name and call a black and chrome street bob CLASSIC.

Just when I was ready to purchase a Roadking Standard HD discontinued it. If they bring it back I’ll buy one other than that HD has lost my business. Not all of us are speed demons.

  • @gsrider569

I think the Dirt Glide will get a CVO model. Now speaking of displacement. Indian with their 108 @ 122 hp is a liquid cooled engine and easier to get HP than an air-cooled mill.
The lifespan will be longer with a water cooled bike. More power is always good but at what cost? reliability, lifespan?
I'm happy with my 103 twin cam in my RK. pulls well and just seems happy to run at 80 mph all day long. If I need more of a thrill, get on my 1250 GSA. This bike reall does everything well, but my Harley makes me smile when I ride it. More displacement isn't always better IMO

Im hoping chrome makes a huge comeback. I want a chrome lowrider, chrome RKS, bring back the super glide or wide glide, or fix the street bob and standard, no reason in hell those bikes cant have a 5 gal tank

Balzy if HD comes out with a true race bike. Would like to see the 131/135 with the VVT and strip down/built up for racing.… Price it with the CVO‘s and then the differentiator is the CVO can always upgrade to the bigger engine but if you want all the trimmings you gotta go with the CVO and the CVO isn’t really built for racing in the first place. Look they’ve got the new RAV max/pan America up significantly higher and they could bring a mono shock race bike… If they’re gonna do a race bike they better have a better rake/trail than the Roguelike currently has
